My 1st Capsule Hotel Experience in Japan (for women)

On recommendation I went with First Cabin for my capsule experience. There are several in Tokyo. I went with the one in Akasaka. This one has 7 floors where the basement or floor 1 holds the Men’s Spa, Women’s Spa, Lounge, Shower room and Coin laundry. The 2nd floor is the hotel lobby and all remaining floors are the cabins.
There’s two types of cabins here. The First Class which is bigger and has walking room around the bed and the Business Class cabins which is shown here. The 6th floor appears to be the only women’s floor and totally secure. Walking on my floor to my cabin, it reminded me of a storage facility. I read a lot of complaints of the noise, but I didn’t experience any of that. I thought it was pretty quiet. Two nights cost me about $109 total.
