Thank you ❤
Thank You VERY Much!!!:)))э
You’re very welcome!
Orpheus: Great video! Just sub'ed :)
Thanks so much! Glad the video was helpful.
3:28 So true! And from my experience, the added element needn't be "in your face" - it can be very _subtle_ - like, just adding a simple, soft strings pad, or some subtle percussion in the background. Listeners will pick up on that. They'll get a sense of your story _deepening_ and _evolving_ as your song goes on. Great insight!
Great point!
1kth like is mine wow
Good structures, specially in the TikTok era when the listeners get easily bored and click away, we are in a constant battle for attention, where the average is 6 seconds attention the most in a video. And most new producers make 2 minute songs to be TikTok enabled. Not like in the 80s where you could make a 9 minute bangers lol.
anyways, I usually start with the drums to set the rythmic base, then the bass, then the chords yes, but so that they can syncopate or follow the drums, idk.
Because the Night is by Bruce Springsteen.
I didn’t know that. Looks like technically it’s by both Springsteen and Patti Smith.
Patti gave it to Bruce
@@sathor9721 Literally the other way around. Springsteen gave it to Smith at the suggestion of Jimmy Iovine.
How do you label the structure in garageband with those colors?
I’m not that familiar with GarageBand, so I’m not sure if that’s a feature or not.
Is breakdown and break same or different and also is interlude and break aka breakdown same or different what I said it’s different?
A lot of terms are used interchangeably, but I believe technically a breakdown is more like a chorus, and a break/interlude is typically an instrumental section.
@@OrpheusAudioAcademy so technically they are totally 💯 different from each other but I would agree with you that a break and interlude are typically instrumental section.
@@PullbacktheCurtain Oh, I agree. I meant people tend to use the terms interchangeably, even though that is technically incorrect.
@@OrpheusAudioAcademy look 👀 at the links that I send to you.
@@OrpheusAudioAcademy and to me break and interlude are totally 💯 different from each other.
Because Tonight was written by Bruce Springsteen.
Would have been nicer if you could play some music with examples, without continuously speaking.
Talk to much buddy good info examples will help you grow more
Came to hear some synthwave structure. Not a single note of synthwave. Just a dude talking about synthwave.
What specifically were you hoping would be in the video?
@@OrpheusAudioAcademy was expecting to hear some creative synthwave goodness being made.
@@Knucklesmd Ah, yeah. I couldn't actually play the songs or the video would get a copywrite strike. I could definitely make another video using my own music as an example though.
@@OrpheusAudioAcademyThat would be a good idea.
Was waiting to hear it man. Nothing. 👎🏻
What were you waiting to hear? The songs I used as examples? I couldn’t play the audio of those because I’d get a copyright strike on the video. Sorry if that was a problem, but you can always look them up on Spotify.
Have a good one. 👍
Well, maybe one of your own songs then? To give an idea of how each section actually sounds. I have no idea what a chorus sounds for example...
