31 Things to Pack for a Cruise in 60 Seconds

- What to pack for a cruise? Are you a first time cruiser with no idea where to start your packing list for a cruise? Maybe you're a seasoned cruiser looking for fun new tips or ideas. We have tons of ideas, and lots of videos, but who want to sit through all those?
In this episode we try to squeeze 30 things to pack into 60 seconds. We ended up with 31. Consider it a bonus. We still have lots more. We hope you like it.
Just returned from a 14-day Mediterranean cruise. Loved the tips for pop-up laundry hamper, travel alarm clock, magnets, travel mug, day pack, wipes, and extra memory. Hubby especially loved having the laundry hamper for his dirty clothes, and the alarm clock saved us on debarkation day. Thanks CruiseTipsTV!

For the first time I bought stick on dress shields for my 2 week cruise. They were inexpensive on Amazon and a pair were wrapped in a single package, making packing them very easy. The shield help make a shirt worn not just one day but 2, especially the dinner tops. I have left overs for my next cruise. Try it......

One thing I would add to the list is sunburn relief. Although we always have the sunscreen sometimes you get caught up in the fun and forget to reapply. I learned this the hard way and forgot to bring sunburn relief. I was not totally stranded because the ship did sell it at the staggering price of 12 dollars. so I recommend bringing some just in case.

CruiseTipsTV Yeah, and I was thinking, "good thing they drive to port." We're bringing Halloween costumes for the Elation in a few months, but since it's a 5 day cruise, should balance out. Victorian Ghost video coming. ;)
thejokerspeaks Yah, good thing. I totally overpacked on my last cruise. Took too many things thinking I'd need them since it was a 10 night, but ended up doing laundry anyway! MUST tone down the baggage weight!
CruiseTipsTV I can understand over packing, especially for a 10 day cruise. We're getting up there, just switched our 2017 cruise to Grandeur out of Baltimore, 9 day cruise going to SC, FL, and the Bahamas. We're basically cutting RCL down to a minimum for various reasons, and are using a future cruise certificate on something exclusive that they offer.
Oh I might be crazy, but we're doing a Timeshare presentation in Vegas next month to "win a free" cruise on Imagination. Reading reviews, it sounds like we'll still have to pay a service fee, port and taxes. You also have to choose the fall when it's cheapest, but that's when we prefer Carnival anyways. If all we save is $100 pp, I'll take it. ;)
Sounds fun...that's probably at least a $600 value on the Imagination, before taxes and fees - as long as you go into it with realistic expectations, it will be worth it...Imagination still has a lot of heart and the party/smoking/crazy crowd should be at a minimum in the fall. Catalina alone can be worth the cruise fare. Getting there from LA isn't cheap so cruising there is my preferred method of transport. Any carnival live shows on Imagination in fall?
I go on cruises almost once a year with my family. We actually don't pack half the stuff, as we bring our phones more and use them as alarm cnjlocks and cameras, depending on the ship, we bring laundry detergent, we have no need for jewelery as my mother and I don't wear jewelery, we don't use packing cubes, we don't bring hairdryers or binoclears, as the ship will have a hair dryer. We do bring daypacks and backpacks, as well as soda and dri ks like that as we get a room with a mini fridge. My opinion is that some of the stuff you don't need, like in there e hair dryer and USB charger, along with an alarm clock as the ship has wake up calls, hhaair dryers, and most ships are upgrading to have USB charger with their outlets. I'm not critizing, I'm just stating my opinion.

We usually check out the ship, and ports, and then pick and chose things best suited for the trip. It's really nice that you are Cruising with the family almost every year. We think that's a great way to spend family time. Thanks again!
Question: so there’s generally no hair dryers in the cabin? Also, are there typically available ice machines on each deck? Thanks :)
Usually there are hair dryers in every cabin, except on OLD Carnival ships. They aren't great, but hey work. There are NO ice machines on the ships I've been on. Cabin steward can bring you ice by request, and so can room service ;-)

CruiseTipsTV I have already watched them! they helped a lot! you should do a video on water life hacks like hacks about waterslide and pools and hot tubs or anything wet to do on a cruise. if you do this it would make my day😄
