My 💔 broken heart feels so much grief for this family. The father is definitely still processing the shock of trying to keep his wife alive... he is so humble & even tells the perpetrator to be better-to help the next person who is making awful choices...Fatalities happen everyday and we're become immune to the monumental effect that it has on the innocent. Where can we go to escape? No where because "we can't regulate evil." This is quoted by one of the performers that evening. This beautiful family are going live & learn how to move forward without their mother & wife. It's devastating. Pls if you know this family support them in any & all ways. For those of who don't know them we also need to show compassion & do what our hearts prompt us to do. I hope a prayer vigil surrounds anyone affected by this tragedy... Godspeed to your family & friends. 💔

There have been people whom lost their lives, being right there in their own homes, minding their own business. Also, a lady at Myrtle Beach, was sitting in her chair on the beach, reading a book and got ran over by police cruiser. You can't hide nowhere in this world from all the useless guns and careless people in this world

I use to Love to attend these kinds of Activities. But we were leaving a parking garage one after a concert and people started fighting and one guy lifted his trunk up on his car and he had a Gun. He didn't shoot it but just seeing his gun made me realize I don't wanna die out here so I don't go to big gatherings around alot of people I don't know anymore. That takes a toll on the human psyche in itself. 😔 In these situations though, calmness prevails. It literally saves lives. This nurse was fully prepared to save lives. I’m trained as a CNA and we were taught to be able to deal with death that it not affect us it’s psychology but we still need to have a heart and compassion for each other and other people I did that job for the elderly and I loved taking care of them I’m retired now but I love people in general I don’t think I could talk to people about this situation and not cry my eyes out My heart goes out to the families that went through this horrific situation ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏😢😢😢
Our city (reportedly) has the largest Juneteenth Celebration, in this country. Here's one suggestion, the festivities should end at sundown. We all know there are folks in our community who do not know how to comport themselves, peacably. For whatever Reason, they tend to come out at night.

Giving an interview letting everyone know you have zero social awareness is crazy. Sadly, I don’t do large crowds when black people are around. But this is heart breaking to know two innocent lives were taken.

Texas-concept can afford to set-up/schedule all events indoors, in a contained environment. They do NOT have to charge admission. An amphitheater is a little different, but this kind of mayhem was easily-predictable and, therefore, preventable & hopefully, was truly an unplanned, unpremeditated matter. That will not be of any comfort to the families of the deceased.
I HOPE for their sakes, event planners will STOP having large gatherings out of doors, where a crowd cannot be contained. This was a totally unnecessary tragedy. Juneteenth should be taken as a time to Educate, not “celebrate.” FINALLY enacting a national “good,” after centuries of Evil against people is no cause for two (2) summer celebrations. It’s questionable that there is real reason for one, as far as Black people go.
I hope this lesson will be one of the LAST of its kind! Still feeling the residuals of the harmful power systemic that “teaches” everyone on the planet to hate Black people, including Black people.
Until that dynamic is eradicated, & Justice is system-wide, there is very little, if ANY cause for celebration. It’s really a somber anniversary date and an appropriate time to Remind the young where we have already been. How Silent Deception can be as every bit as malicious as direct attacks. This poorly-planned fiasco is very likely to be used as “justification” to wish ill-will on Black people sufficient to reinstate Enslavement. Not that it doesn’t already exist worldwide.

If she doesn’t know by now that nowhere is safe. Shootings can occur anywhere and bullets have no name. This nurse is oblivious and I hope to never be her care. As a healthcare professional when you become numb to saving a life and or the concept to never give up… you need to retire!

I just broke down the other day hearing about the sweet little boy Julian Woods, who died by hate crime, the wonderful people at the Splash Pad, and now this. To know this type of evilness is walking around freely is scary.
I'm not afraid to admit it, because they keep saying it as suspect, I pretty much know what they might look like. It's always hesitated at first. If its a white person, they do tell it immediately and have their entire life existence covered before the news goes off. But if someone else, they may or may not discover who did it. Even if 10,000 witnesses pointed to them as guilty. They still say, there is no further information.
Seeing the husband so broken and blaming himself for something he did not do nor could save her from was beyond heartbreaking. They said people are racist to feel a certain way. But if the only conclusion any logical person can make is by seeing the same narrative daily, what else are they to think without ability to meet everyone from the group? Could only guess it's all until given a chance to prove it otherwise.
Why did they say Scott Adams was wrong? Why has accountability faded away? Why didn't they honor Julian Woods and tell the people what really happened? Why was it ok to hurt his family while already mourning by showing them the country no longer has love for them. Why are so many ok with this? Why couldn't I stay in the 90s where people still wanted to be human and not push unnecessary divisions daily?? Why?
