- Strings Attached, featuring Vidwan R. Kumaresh and Dr.Jayanthi Kumaresh, present an own composition in Kalyani ragam for Ekatvam Holi Music Festival 2019 on March 23rd, 2019. Joining them are Shri. K.U.Jayachandra Rao on Mridangam and Shri. Pramath Kiran on Tabla.
This composition was specifically composed by Shri. Kumaresh and Dr. Jayanthi Kumaresh for their production "Strings Attached".

A great, great performance. I discovered Indian classical music like 20 years ago or more. Thank you very much for this strange (for an occidental) but very, very beautiful music. I can't explain my reaction to listening to Indian classical music, but it is similar to classical occidental music. Similar, but not the same, thankfully.
In something like this, new technologies are a great gift to humanity, because I can hear and appreciate the best in music from such distant parts of the world.

Although both are string instruments, violin and veena both have their unique areas of strengths. To perform both in unison is a big challenge. They have done this seamlessly. Great show.

The fusion of Veena and Violin is absolutely amazing and stunningly mesmerizing. The rhythm and pitching of the raagaas as if an elder sister is running on the mud boundaries of a green field and the younger sister following her with equal pace. Those watching them from a distance feel they may slip and fall but they move forward with ease.
That's exactly how Maa Saraswati would look like 🙏🙏 Humble Pranams ma🙏
