    I can recall a Sunday afternoon, I was working in Apparel in CB and Red Service was called. It was a female shoplifter and somehow she got away from the LP guy. She was running toward the doors, I threw down the clothing that I had in my hand, and went out after her and took her down between the 2 sets of doors. I knew I was not supposed to do it, but I was having a bad Apparel day and I fully enjoyed it. I am sure that I would have made a great LP person.

    Thank you for this encouraging video! :) from a fellow female AP, it means a lot that you are helping fight the stigma. ❤

    One big problem was we had men decide to shoplift 600 to 1000 dollars worth of women s underware

    Women always blend in better in most shopping environments And men listen to them and will be more respectful to them as well so yeah that’s definitely misinformation

    Gloves face mask plate carrier with plates handcuffs OC spray and a baton are my daily carries

    • @GeorgeLangabeer
      @GeorgeLangabeer  Před 3 lety

      Nice! Yeah, we were only allowed to carry handcuffs (& there was a brief period they even took those away from us).

      @@GeorgeLangabeer my plate cares probably save me 10 times for being stuck with tonight and 30 plus times for being poked with a needle. But the handcuffs though those are my biggest asset. At some point the person detaining is going to snap and I'd much rather them be handcuffed behind their back when that happens.

      @GeorgeLangabeer  Před 3 lety

      Yeah, for sure. We finally got them back after they realized how much of a safety concern it was to have nothing.

    In my state if the person yells and or uses profanityat all during the confrontation it becomes armed robbery

  • @jayl3840
    @jayl3840 Před 2 lety

    Well .. I have to chime in here.. Yes when you fight back or even place a hand on the LP officer (at least in my state) you are right it is indeed gone from theft to Robbery (armed robbery if you have a weapon on your person) But that does not mean that they go to Prison .. I just had to clear that up.. in my area the DA would never take a theft to Robbery to trial because it is such a weak case most times. Anyway I had multiple guys (and women) in my old crew that acted a fool and fought LP and caught that big old felony case.. But not one of them did any prison time. They all plead out to a lesser charge and generally got Probation or a few days in jail. That is how it goes in my state/area which actually I live just down the way from Nebraska... The local LP guys here are all damn good at there job but the biggest problem they have is they can't think like a criminal and that leaves them open to exploits.. Ive been watching this relatively new technique recently and keep watching LP's get hoodwinked over and over and over again .. You guys focus to much on certain things and that is one of your biggest weaknesses against the criminal mind.. If any of you work in wal-mart/Target I can assure you that you are most likely falling victim to this new system it's freaking brilliant like some james bond meets Edward Bernays type shit lol .. I was jealous I didn't think it up in my days of boosting lol.. Ill give you guys a bread crumb "What is the weakest part of any security system? and how do you turn that in on itself to create an infinite feedback loop a echo chamber of worthless data to you guys but priceless to the criminals".. Ive already said to much - one of you smarty pants will solve it and finally see what is happening..Your welcome!!

      All I know is every person that tried to stab me or shoot me is in prison (& there were a few). So maybe Nebraska is just more hardcore.
