This is my personal 2016 BMW R1200 GS Adventure. I will be making more videos during my ownership.
In this video I walk you through the tools and steps that I take in order to change your final drive oil. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 75W-90 oil, but you can use which ever oil you feel works best.

good point on doing the bolts by hand, learned the hard way it's not faster if you strip it out!

The UK ‘Haynes Manual’ the Clymer manual and the BMW CD service manual all state 180ml, nice clean job, thanks for sharing 👍😃

what is the viscosity of the oil that BMW Recements?

I like the bottle. Most bottles like this have a tapered tip which I think would constrict the flow of oil, but yours does not. Did you cut of the very tip to enlarge the hole? Also wondering if holding the bottle upside down would improve the flow of oil.

I did have to enlarge the cut the tip to allow it better flow. That is a good question and I will try it on my next service coming up here in a hundred miles or so.

I think you overfilled your rear diff. It's 200mL according to the manual

It’s 180ML. I was demonstrating that you can literally overfill it and it won’t spill out. Thanks for watching.
