      @@applez3015 it’s only taken me 22 years to say I can speak Arabic. If you’re Pakistani or Indian then best advice I can give is translate from Urdu to Arabic as opposed to English to Arabic.

    A good tutor will tremendously accelerate your learning, however good tutors are not easy to find. It is imperative for the student to speak/read for at least 70% of the duration of the class, tutors shall only intervene for correcting mistakes and reformulation of syntax. Unfortunately the majority of the tutors are doing most of the talk giving students little to zero opportunity to express themselves.

      I would say about A2 - B1, given that he gets a lot of practice and immersion.

      It has a drawback the arabic verbs are written in English which is somewhat difficult to read ..some other book but in arabic ..

      The Madinah books cover essential vocabulary. I'd advice you to supplement that with reading simple books with a dictionary.
