    Pour faire l’élévateur de la scapulaire il faut mettre une main sous l’épaule au niveau de son insertion et la tête en rotation controlatérale
    On demande au patient de lever l’épaule contre résistance et on expiration on abaisse l’épaule

    Is this the same as ART? Which one is better to learn and do?

    • @JohnGibbons
      @JohnGibbons  Před 2 měsíci +1

      ART is fantastic but can take a while to learn and cost a lot of money and you have to maintain your registration yearly - similar to being an osteopath - so your choice, regards JG

    I like this video. Am I correct in saying that being supine also disengages the upper traps against gravity.
    Also, I may have asked this before but can you MET the neck at the start of a session or after lots of soft tissue work to warm up?

    • @JohnGibbons
      @JohnGibbons  Před 6 lety +1

      It does help relax the traps if the patient is supine and you can use METs any time during the session. I do think you have asked that before but no problem, regards JG
