June 10th 1944, My Dad's 856th Bomb Squadron lost all 10 of its B-24's to Hornets near the oil refinery at Politz in less than 20 minutes. The attack was commemorated by Randy Green's painting. INTO A HORNETS NEST. Doc 1/5 Cav RVN 69-70
Love the 410, but why aren't any of those planes firing at you? I do believe the damage model with that 50 mm cannon. I would have been terrified of a 410; you probably won't have a chance to parachute!
Of those actually built - Me 410B-1 is my guess. Because some of B-series were powered by DB 603AA (better supercharger than DB 603A) and B-1 version is the most aerodynamically clean (no long guns, ventral bulge for photo equipment, torpedo shackle or radar antenna).
The simulation doesn't show the American B-26 defensive gunners firing back. They must be asleep. The simulation also depicts the B-26 Marauder as flimsy and easy to shoot down as a Japanese G3M Betty Bomber and the G4M bomber. Granted, the Me-410 Hornet variants fired a variety of 30mm and 20mm cannon with 7.92mm machine guns. Yet the B-26 was more durable than shown in this video.
Riiiight, flimsy and easy to shot down? You kinda forgetting that they were hit by Mk103, each round packing 90g of tnt times 2 + Mg151 each round packing 30g of tnt, also times 2. 1 high explosive round of 30mm caliber was enough to down British fighter or bomber ( www.google.com/search?sca_esv=593610628&q=effect+of+mk103+british+test&tbm=vid&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjAzseygquDAxWJQvEDHWTxAqcQ0pQJegQIChAB&biw=1536&bih=766&dpr=1.25#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:b837d15d,vid:91LUxqn1QY0,st:0 )

The firepower on this aircraft is incredible 😵
surviving rate, too :)
@@khankurblaj3934 Surviving rate likely dropped dramatically the day Me-410 pilots found out their targets were escorted by P-51 Mustangs.
8 confirmed kills, a shared kill, and a probable kill in one day. Close to being a 10 kills in one day!!! Amazing sortie!
Damn! The firepower on that thing is scary.
Rear gunners were fast asleep… should be interesting to see it in proper multiplayer
So much Fuhrerpower! 😄
The ultimate Zerstorer has arrived, haha.
Some darned good shooting there.
What a beautiful plane❤
Another Outstanding video!
Love this aircraft
Thanks, from the land of New Zealand!
Great video

Ai gunners...sometimes they snipe You in first bullet sometimes they dont fire at all.
Superb birdy!! I 💕 it.
i'm always interested in this bird, oh man i wish i could afford a better pc.
keep up the good work man !.
To shreds you say
The B-26 pilots are the first to bail, is there any video where one can see the rear gunner view in the Hornisse?
Everything I hoped WT would become when I joined it in beta....... :(
I always wanted to know what the fastest version of the Me410 was? Was there say for example an me 410 K or something like the top dog of 410s?

Yes and I've never seen real film of so many wings falling off so easy
I like this warbird very much.
I fly it in War Thunder.😎👍
Excellent gunnery. 0/ Sortie.
Poor mans Mosquito?
actually the mosquito was much cheaper to get.
Pretty sad when the AI doesn't even bother to jink the bombers you're attacking. Those B-26 pilots would have been all over the sky.
Me-410 very effective. Me-210 real loser.
Did they Nerf the swastika logo to be less offensive? Lol. Is there a reason the American planes don’t evade.
