The Harley VTwin engine causes your brain to make Alpha waves, the brainwave state of relaxed focused concentration. Compared to EV's whose only stimulus is rapid accelleration, which creates Beta waves in your brain... Beta waves are associated with excitement, adrenalin, increased cortisol, and stress. The EV motorcycle may be fun and may even be practical for some. But it’s a niche thing. The “all electric” strategy applied to motorcycles seems insane to me.
My car is EV but my two motorcycles are gas and I don’t see that changing. Even if we have to start using carbon neutral efuel instead of gasoline. It’s crazy expensive, but would be a LOT more doable for 3 gallons to fill up my bike than it would be for a SUV with a 20 gallon tank. And we already pay extra for exhausts etc to hear our bikes make that sweet sound.
I truly think the traditional combustion engine motorcycle is a concept that has already been perfected.
Well said. The ICU is perfect for motorcycles.
It won't! Period.
Good!
What is a electric?Engin there is no such thing
It should not exist in these enormous sizes but sadly they do.
HD CEO needs too go! He will never stop going woke!
No it’s his life mission to be sustainable and leave no carbon footprint
99% of the Harleys are sold just because a big - bold gas engine....
True
. Would be funny to see all electric Harleys 😂😂😂
Funny ironic not funny reality 😜
Harley-Davidson is speaking from both sides of their mouth and outright lying when it suits them. ACTIONS speak LOUDER than words.
The grossly overpaid German CEO of Harley-Davidson is a Political Activist using Harley-Davidson as his platform to carry out his political ambitions.
Jochen Zeitz was a grave mistake gone really bad for Harley-Davidson that may take years to recover from assuming Harley-Davidson survives. The damage has been done and he needs to be replaced as soon as possible.
Harley-Davidson needs a CEO that loves America and its culture, knows Americans, loves motorcycles, and recognizes its core customers. Such a CEO's focus will be to build the best motorcycles and who will perpetuate Harley-Davidsons legacy and successful history for future generations.
Oust the CEO and all of the Board of Directors ASAP!
Sadly I think the financial community has a say in who gets fired and promoted at HD and the stock really hasn’t moved. It’s still early though
Unless the Woke CEO and all Board Members are replaced I hope Harley-Davidson's stock value plummets. Declining stock portfolios will get the attention of shareholders and force resignations.
Motorcycling is a viceral powersport that requires all 5 senses being engaged. Eliminating sound and feel from the sport just makes these ev's rather meh.
Furthermore, people talked about the "Harley Mystique" for decades... then, in 2016, they did a study with UCLA where participants wore a portable EEG to measure brainwave activity.
These esg/dei, "sustainability" loving bean counters, have zero passion and enthusiasm for the core product (45 degree V-Twin), which has been proven scientifically to be a mystical meditation machine.
Well said. 👏🏼
all electric and a big amp for the engine noise, so much for rolling thunder
Need that authentic exhaust thunder and Vtwin sensations
Who hired this guy and why?
No body hired him. He bought himself onto the board then smooth talked his way through the old guard then chaired a committee, the sustainability committee that he originated based on his ESG plan from Puma where he was CEO. In 2018 he was voted in as the new chairman of the board. In 2020 he appointed himself as CEO.
most hd riders don't ride more than a hundred miles anyway.
I do.
This is how you know you are out of touch w your major consumer base
Exactly. 🙈
The CEO must go
Indeed
How many biker bars have charging stations
Have not found one yet. But H-D is forcibly suggesting dealers remodel to include destination entertainment whereby you can sit and charge while eating and drinking at the dealership

Id never buy a new harley anyways so fuck them
Pre-owned is where it’s at.
Probably to say that Hydrogen could be the future, it is to look at alternatives.
They should.
Harley is in its death throws.
Sad.
Can't put my pipes on electric motorcycles
No you can’t unfortunately
HOW A HELL HE GOT THIS POSITION ???
Carefully plotting and scaling through the weeds beginning in 2007 when he bought a seat on the board through stock purchases
i think alot of harley owners will move to indian at least they arnt woke and have a german greenie as ceo
Some will for sure
So Harley is now an electric scooter company? 😂😅
Soon he says. They own 90% of Live Wire and the CEO plans to merge the two companies if / when battery technology and the grid evolves to accommodate longer distance travel.
Oh, that will stir up a lot of dinosaurs! 🤣
Their resting in wait
Bye bye, Harley. It's been nice knowin' ya. That German dude should have stuck to what he knows about, like selling shoes.
Nicely done.
A german eatpotatoes as CEO of H-D... It seems a joke 😂
It seems like a joke but it’s our reality
It's a shame what has happened to Harley Davidson and I will miss this American icon. But I won't stand for what they have become. RIP Harley Davidson.
Support EV and lose your customer base.
@@KennyQuestShow More like support homosexuality and lose your customers period. I wouldn't mind if they included EVs in their line up but to say that is all they are going to build from now on? That's corporate suicide. That limp wristed CEO has got to go.
That is as dumb as it gets. The reporter doing this piece is definitely NOT a motorcycle person ,just knows how to keep one upright. Do you REALLY think the Harley buyers are gonna go for electric motor cycles !!!!!
The reporter? Do you mean me?
So long to Harley then
So long
So I'm supposed to spending 30 k on bike around downtown when I a buy a better scooter for less than 6 k newmuch less used. Get out of here.
Exactly!
Harley’s only value was American patriotism, sure wasn’t their overpriced, unreliable almost half ton two wheel tractors
Patriotism and the feeling of the one pin crank and unbalanced firing order of the cylinders and how that makes you feel.
@@KennyQuestShow
HD needs an EVO 2.0
And a management overhaul
@@coastalhillbilly3419 agreed
Consider Livewire has never had a profitable financial quarter, Second quarter this year the loss was 24.8 million. Last year total loss was 125 million, 2022 was total loss of 85 million. It certainly isnt happening....
Unless he sticks to his published sustainability goal of net zero and the government supports it with legislation that makes the sale of ICU bikes illegal, talking to you California
@@KennyQuestShow I'm fairly confident if the ICU was phased out so would nearly all street riders. I have 3 street bikes if forced to go electric it would be zero. They are not mandatory I will find something else to do
Alles Elektrisch ???
Dann ist Harley Geschichte..
Der Manager hat Unrecht !!
Und denkt zu Europäisch !
Zweigleisig fahren.
E-und- Verbrenner !!
Agreed!
Harley is going woke, which in turn will be broke.
And that is no joke.
i build battery packs for ev trucks. i am not gonna ride a electirc harley
And you shouldn’t be forced too!
