►剧情简介：

The main thing is that he should have never been blamed for his little sister's death in the first place. No one ever told him it wasn't his fault! What so you expect a child that young to do????? I kept waiting for one of his parents to tell him it wasn't his fault. Being so young and unable to get help tore him up so bad he had nightmares for decades! It's just soo wrong that he was always blamed for the trauma that nearly destroyed him. Then his mother torturing and abusing him on top of it all.

It's actually sad cuz this actually happens in real life. Until the very end, some of those ppl, they self-pity. Their suicide notes contains only their pain. They either blame others or themselves and that's what's hurts the most. If your a family member and your read their letter, you would either hate them for being selfish or hate yourself for not being able to do anything.
It's hard to have a mentally unstable ppl in your family or even as your friend. If your not strong enough, your mental health would suffer to. Just like LX. That's why ppl who are mentally unstable needs counseling. They need proper help. We should take mental health seriously cuz it can cause such huge damages to everyone.

Of all the C-dramas I've seen, I have to say this is by far the best one. Inspirational and Cleverly written with a brilliant cast. The director did an awesome job. The entire crew responsible for giving us this masterpiece should be extremely proud.
Haha! The episodes of this C-Drama until Episode 14 were quite good but after that episode, the storyline seems to have gone south with some unnecessary subplots -- like Tang Can's story, for instance. I don't get how she could have ended up actually sharing an apartment with Mingyue and JianJian especially when she was far from being a close friend of theirs at all when they were in school. She doen't even pay rent and is actually quite annoying especially the way she eavesdrops and butts into other people's conversations. Her character doesn't even play any pivotal role in the story. If you want a REALLY good C-Drama, for historical C-dramas also starring Tan Songyun, there's "The Sword & the Brocade". For a contemporary one, I'd recommend "The Bond".

"I am not qualified to be your mother" was the only good thing that LX's mom said in the letter she wrote.
One more thing, I am severely angry that she didn't mention Lil Orange in the letter. She thinks that LX is the only child that she has hurt. Lil Orange is also traumatized after growing up with such a mother. No wonder why she always cried each time she saw LX with JJ from the very beginning.

The way it's not focused on jj lx romance rather portrayed their lives is soooo beautiful... In the end everyone will live happily ever after... 李海潮 - 是此剧的灵魂人物，老好人的他除了会煮面做饭，更把孩子们缺乏的“母爱”给填补上。李爸当“妈”、凌爸当“爹”，两人的互动太搞笑了。
贺子秋 - 饰演童年的小演员台词不多但表情到位，让人看了非常心疼；张新成有把18岁的少年感演得非常到位。

The very best part of this story is it's not self centred to just the main lead and doesn't pause the rest of the world around them , it portrays each character sooo beautifully with a lots of messages which makes the story Not burdensome at all just by making the lead suffer 🥰💜

I just love how the series didn’t focus with romace, I mean yes there is romance in it but it served as a medicine to LX and that made this plot so much better. Doesn’t matter if it will have season 2 or not, all I can say is that thank you for existing Go Ahead. This is really the best way to end my 2020

What a heartwarming series! It brought me laughter and tears. I like how it showed the reality of what different families go through. It also reminded me of the nature vs nurture debate - who would you call the real parent? The one biological one or the one who raised you?

I loved every bit of this. All the actresses and actors, not forgetting the child actors, were perfect and all played their roles on point. Whether their characters made me love them or be annoyed with them, it really shows their talent given how they brought out so many emotions from me. I pushed watching the ending for three weeks because I didn't want it to end!!
And the OST!!! Amazing honestly, every single track. Boy did the singers make me feel emotional when their songs came up. Loved that the lyrics were also translated as well (Thank you for that!!) as it connected me more to the events happening, making the acting more impactful and almost brought me to tears at some points. People don't often give props to how impactful OSTs can be, so thank you for the amazing soundtrack!!!
Will definitely come back to revisit this series and look into other works from the actors :D Also thank you @China Huace TV Offical Channel for uploading here and letting me enjoy this series.

Who would've taught that Ling Xiao still blames himself for his sister's death. He's such an angel. I want to hug him and say it was never his fault and accident happens. And if there's someone to blame it would be Chen Ting. Who locks their children below 10 yrs. old unsupervised to play mahjong.
I find it so satisfying because Ziqiu wanted to be included in Lin's family and now their families are tied together! My heart☺️❤️ I hope that they redo the family register for the house like Ziqiu's dream
如果没有李尖尖，就根本没有今天的凌霄，李尖尖就是凌霄可以生存的一束光，这的确是一部近年来少有的好剧，里面阐述了现今社会上存在问题，比如被大众忽略的“情绪病”
我覺得更嚴重的問題是 “唯母親是神” 的這個和邪教無異的社會價值觀。一句 “媽媽都是爲了這個家” 就把一切錯的變成合理，道德綁架、情緒勒索，一個母親不尊重孩子、控制孩子、虐待孩子，甚至抛棄孩子，一句 “她終究還是你媽” 就都要接受。我覺得有種罪犯就叫母親。有生育能力不等於該當父母，教育沒有必修父母課，誰都要教師有教育資格，可是父母卻到現在都從不需要 “專業資格”，還去謾駡老師，諷刺的很。
这几位妈妈的缺点，我妈全有。凌霄妈把自己的痛苦加给家里的每一个人；月亮妈要求家里每个人都按照她的要求生活；唐灿妈希望孩子给自己带来为荣耀；子秋妈以为自己给孩子的是最好的，出狱了也不来认他....

What a perfect ending, I wish little orange and xiqui to be togather like a couple I can feel her love towards him
The best character arc: He Zi Qiu. All he wanted was a family who wanted him. He didn't even dare to hope he would get his mom back. I'm glad he wasn't paired with someone. Because all he wanted, actually needed, was his mom at the end. That walk in the rain sharing an umbrella was pure heart.
