Doc knew about Marty since 1955, waited for him to visit his lab, then they started meeting regularly, leading to Twin Pines Mall events.

This does follow what the film markers said though, that most likely Marty broke into the work shop and then started working for Doc.
Thats lone pine mall Doc though. Original twin pine mall Doc had no idea of Marty or anything else from the 1955 time travel events cause they didnt happen yet.
I believe this is Lone Pine Doc's tale of meeting Marty. Thats why it was more like waiting for him and testing him to make sure its him. Cause of the events of 55. I believe there was another one I recall from way back in the day that told what seems like Twin Pine Doc's version which is almost the same except no traps waiting and Marty just stayed looking at Doc's experiments till Doc walked in and saw him and then same thing with offering him help and a job. Or my memory is remembering wrong and this is the only version. It has been quite a while since I read some of the BTTF comics. Was back in 95 and was my Uncle's copies.
@@Skater-uq1gm Yes, that's true. In Twin Pines Mall, Doc died by Libyans, and the only person from the previous timeline is Marty. But in this comic it got to be Lone Pines Mall Marty because this Doc didn’t die.

We know here that Doc was waiting for Marty because he met him in 1955, but this could also work out in the other timeline before Marty went back, this shows why Doc was interested in him helping, he probably went "This kid broke into my place which i had advanced security, & he was smart enough to bypass it." Now people could stop asking "Was Doc just creeping on high school kids?"
Well, I heard originally that Marty heard about Doc Brown, and went to steal something from his workshop for science class, and that's how they met, however, I guess this may have just been a fan theory, because this is the official explanation as to how they met.
I always been thinking of a way to explain how Marty met Emmett in the first place. At least this was 1 way. Thx for video.

I never actually thought about how Doc Brown and Marty McFly first met before the movie. I can actually see this happening in canon.
I believe this story is canon because it is featured in the book titled "Untold Tales and Alternate Timelines," which this story was written by Bob Gale. He wrote the script and come up with the story for this story and in the second story from issue 1, he solely did the storyline for it and didn’t write the script.

is this a version of the events before or after marty messed with 1955? im sure in post 1955 when young doc helped marty go back to the future, im sure doc would somewhat remember meeting marty before going back in time, and would have some alone moments of doc thinking: this is the same marty i helped 26 years ago, i should hold on my bluntness till the time is right, but i must now make sure i keep him on track until the marty 26 years ago arrives.
Don't know, but it is probably an interview where Bob Gale talks more indeed about it.

you can tell by the choice of words & mannerisms
I like the concept of a robot speaking rather than Doc, as it enhances the impact when he appears. Although the comic's creators did not intend it, But I think I can make some changes that I personally appreciate.

You might want to start looking into AI to aid your material. For instance, although the voice impressions were good, if you want to sound exactly like Doc, Marty, and Clara (who needs an upgrade the most) look at "ElevenLabs" which does voice cloning. There are others but 11Labs is on another level.
Also there are AI art generators that can open up additional visuals if you want to create your own.
Maybe when ElevenLabs release them Voice Conversion feature but I like how a real person does the voice because AI not that far for real emotions for voice acting, and this comic not make by me it a official BTTF comic by IDW.

Also 11Labs does allow you to act or speak into it. The audio is then converted into the cloned voice. So it's still a real person's performance or delivery. And not just text-to-speech. You can do either on that site.
@@boomieboo No, I did hire the voice actors but I mean to say that I didn't create the comic book art, dialogue or story. All I did is to turn it into a video format with voices and sound effects. and I mean ElevenLabs doesn't have speech to speech yet with voice conversion but it coming soon in the future.

And I thought speech-to-speech was already available on 11Labs (which is what I was referring to as well) because in one of their viral videos, they have someone giving a speech and through 11Labs his voice is turned into different celebrity voices like Robert Downey Jr and others.

This needs to be redone with AI voices of the actors....
AI voice technology is not yet at the point where I will fully do all A.I voices, but right now I'm currently using some AI voices that I believe can complement with the real voice actors smoothly.
Why does Doc Brown sound like a character from Futurama?
Probably because the person who voiced Doc has similar vocal cords to the person who voiced Homer Simpson / Doc Brown from the animated series.

Bob Gale, aka the co-creator of Back to the Future, co-wrote this comic. You might feel like his character is a bit off because Robert Zemeckis didn't work on this, which means it's like similar to the original BTTF 2 screenplay that Bob Gale wrote until Robert Zemeckis read it and modified it to make it a bit better.
They don't sound anything similar to Christopher Lloyd nor Michael J Fox.
Many people said the voices sound much like the animated series more than the actor's voices in the movies.
