Dave, thank you for this. Love all you guys do. Amazing pedals and service.
Our pleasure!
This video was just for me, and I am thankful.
you bet!
This is an amazing pedal just amazing! You can adjust it all manner of ways sounds great by itself or with anything you can stack with it. Some demo guys keep comparing it to the Carbon or Protein Carbon....just not meant to be and is not the same nor is each side the same. Right probably has bit more gain but this is not the forte of this pedal. It reacts with high gain and other drives and you can tweak it in many ways to improve the sound. One of those pedals that inspires you to play. It reacts with my Revival drive in a most pleasing way and becomes a part of the tone with higher gains always improving the initial tone. There might be other good drives out there but I found my nitche pick. Get one of these before they become GOAT legend. Left side has more headroom and w the high cut in up position, man that is everything I ever dreamed a Bluesbreaker circuit could ever do. They are engineered to stack into each other and you would not get that with individual pedals. Best pedal of 2024 hands down!!
For a little while I was running three Blues Breaker style pedals on my board (among them a Protein and a V1 Carbon), and I took a little ridicule from some fellow players; I think the Carbon X is a great example of just how much variation is possible even within basically the same circuit.
It really is - so much variation!
I've had OD pedals before. But this one... it's exactly what I needed. Thanks, Browne, I love my Carbon X... Plus, the left side stacks so well with other pedals. So, what do you recommend: Atom or Gritador ?
Dave would say Gritador!
