There is something about this video that I can’t place, from the music to the amazing gameplay and the exposition from Kaz. It feels like a race against time and I love every second of it.
I think what gives it a sens of urgency is that it is like a continuous shot in a movie where the protagonist has to save someone he deeply cares about using the deadly precision of all his training and has to do it “before the end of the world” with a music soaring in crescendo.
The music is fantastic. All it makes me think about are those movies that have a bunch of twists and turns that go unnoticed throughout but at the end the main character has that crazy moment of realization where everything clicks into place and certain scenes from earlier are played like flashbacks but the focus is on those details that you missed the first time and it changes everything about the movie. GuyGunslinger that’s what I mean it’s his opinion if he thinks it didn’t have a story it has nothing to do with him being desensitized he just thinks it wasn’t good
Jeah, i think tpp gets too much shit but ita true. GZ set out expectation to maximum overload, and it felt great actually.
Thank God for the enemy's lack of peripheral vision
LoL
thats the opposite when i play, they see me from miles away behind their heads
@@ifalone what's the name of the song played? Please answer.
Stay Healthy.
@@krsol439 it's in the description
I was expecting him laying down for a 300 hours and the video speeded up
Iron Man ew xxxtentatcle
SnowXy eww its you
Iron Man lmao the big boss camper play style
I'm glad this finds its way back into my recommendations every now and then. Always nice to know someone else cared as much about Ground Zeroes as I do.
this guy is truly a monster. ive been playing metal gears since the beginning but this guy has something truly awesome worked out in all this play time. amazing input on those controls dude kudos
I never realized how much better some of snakes animations are in GZ compared to TPP. Running for example
That's because this is the real Big boss, not the medic
But more accurately this was a glorified 2 hour tech demo as opposed to a 50+ hour game, and this was the demonstration of the engine so they went out of there to give you as many tool kits to play with in the smaller more detailed space
Yet in TPP gameplay is more fluid and more polished
mohammed sarker GZ was a blast though, played it endlessly on my ps3
@@Cody-tk9nw same but on ps4
300 hours and you still cant park.
Dislike
zellie7th lol
😂
Oof
😆
lol.
I was hesitant to buy phantom pain because of my potato pc. I know this is ground zeros but after seeing how fluid the gameplay can be from your video, I decided to give it a shot. And it's running way better than I expected. Thanks for changing my mind :)
This was recommended to me years ago, never watched it for some reason. decided it was time, and holy crap man. This is super impressive!
Lol, I don’t really remember Konami’s ad campaign for this game, but this video is far more effective at selling the product. Tip of the cap, sir.
It's ok if u don't remember but this game got one of the best trailer watch this czcams.com/video/NL4ZxDWLwpM/video.html
How dare you? Video games should only be advertised with rendered videos that don't resemble the gameplay at all
This game absolutely sucks. Can't believe i played 40 hours of it just to see if i like it cuz people ride kojima junk for it. Absolute disappointment in terms of gameplay.
@@mishikokenkebashvili879 see this is where your comment falls flat and gets thrown under the lame ass troll category.
While the game's story is nothing to be that impressed about, the game play and graphics are literally unparalleled.
You sir made a total nut job out of yourself
@@jonasfadi8213lmao cmon dude im not trolling i played several tens of hours of that game literally the most boring shit ever. Clunky animations, generic gameplay. Idk why you guys like it so much i just can't see
When you accidentally bought Ground Zeroes instead of Phantom Pain:
That actually happened to me I had to beg my parents to buy me phantom pain 2 years later
@@shouldfindaname5433 You got Phatom Pain ?

@@shouldfindaname5433 I’ve been watching others play all the metal gear games. Should I play mgs 5
Why dose this look so good
Man, this really is the most perfect GZ mission complete I’ve ever seen. The amount of planning and memorization is crazy. Good work, boss.
I bought MGSV TPP and the vast open world with huge ass outposts and hundreds of ways to take them out lethally or not is far more addictive than any other game I've played. Skyrim was my drug but this game is something far more than a drug, it's everlasting happiness
KeK XD
Michael J. Caboose true, it would had been such a blast if it has coop like peace walker
Damn.. Me too man!
Just wish it had a coherent story
I feel you man, i just started the game again. I love how it makes you think you've unlocked everything, but it just keeps on surprising.
I came here three years too late to tell you u got mad skillz

you're a badass sir. It never gets bored watching this. Always the best.
I have 500 hours on Dark Souls 3 and I’m still trash.
Mekomical 😂
That's because dark souls 3 is a shit game
Mekomical And I just bought dark souls 3 today...
GreenHare Have fun, its a great game
Lets Gamer its just too difficult for you thats why you play cod
This is so atmospherically and choregraphically perfect, if the Phantom Pain was a movie, this'd be one of it's action scenes.
Just the intro too.
This is one of my fav clips on CZcams. Overall. Have to keep coming back regularly. And I haven’t even played the game. Cinematography and atmosphere is unreal.❤

Good to see this recommended again. This video always finds me every now and then.
Your video is the reason I looked and found this game in 2020 to play it. You created a movie my friend. Congrats
I would love to watch this guy play this game and the Phantom Pain start to finish...haha like a motion picture!

I just started this game and I love to see gameplay of this caliber. Thank you for all that you do you MGS V God!!!
Really love how well you got it timed to Elegia
Funny this came up when everyone is locked inside and has 300+ hours to play games
at this point in time i have 105 hours in Phantom Pain and 21 hours in Ground Zeroes. I feel i have a pretty good grasp on all the movement/shooting/combat mechanics. This video taught me a Lot of things that i had no idea you could do. Thank you for making and posting this, just by watching I've become better at MGS V. You're a stand-up soldier.
+P. David Cress I saw this comment a week ago... but reading it again made me feel good. I'm glad you're better at it because of this video. And your welcome, but really , no... Thank you. ^_^
+SoullessMadness is the song you played threw out the mission only in Ground zeros?
***** very true. I'm ashamed I forgot that, it's the most important part of any stealth game XD
Dr. Turtle That song was modded into the game. Is not part of GZ nor TPP... but Kojima used it in one of his trailers.
Aw alright
I just started, holy cow. You are so good
Wow... this deserves a clap. Impressive every step of the way.
I feel like GZ had better CQC animations than TPP. The door kicks, grabbing people around corners, etc. A lot of parts of GZ were really good even if still a little clunky.
Probably better CQC because thats the real big boss
fake big boss is weak
@@reynaldocarrrasquillo3183 It's Kojima, I wouldn't be surprised if that was an intentional thing to show just that.
@@reynaldocarrrasquillo3183 that and age effects. Here Big boss is 39, in phantom pain the real big boss is 49, and venom is around 52-53 being 3-4 years older than boss.
@@t-hatguyDo you have any evidence for venoms age there is no mention of venoms birth and age. Don’t give a shit if this comment is old.
The music makes it so perfect, are you big boss ? this is how mgs should be played :D

This video keeps getting recommended to me every once in a while. I always watch it and i always want to play mgsV again.
I’ve got about 500 hours in MGSV and I’m ready to do all over again thanks to you, love playing like this. This game can make you feel like an absolute bad ass genius.
i've beaten everysingle MGS game without killing anyone not scripted to die or firing a bullet, apart from the story parts that force you to fire a rocket launcher or something i only used the tranq pistol. gotta have spent 3000 hours minimum doing this with restarts and everything. no ragrets
pathetic yeah yeah sure mate, so where's your game play footage?
Apple Jar gameplay footage takes up a shitton of space on computers and it's completely normal to play a game without recording
pathetic and you call yourself pathetic that is really ironic
I beat MGSV the same way though it was pretty hard.
General rule of thumb on the internet is that you need proof when making a claim like that, but you have none. Vids or it didn't happen
I downloaded this because I've been trying to find this for so long again... Finally I have the video personally. Thank you for re-uploading it! This is, idk man even though it's just a game, this really is- I can't explain it, it's just that good!
I literally watch this multiple times, even though I have several games irl and do other things, I still somehow wind right back here watching it again and again..
Shinzo14 I didn't re upload anything... I simply took down the shorter video about this mission.
Man, you made it hard!
ok, so there used to be one called something like "this is what 100 hours on mgs5 looks like"? i was searching everywhere for that one the past week
sorry dude.
you could always put it back up. :)
You know, I've never gone back to ground zero, since starting Phantom Pain, and finishing it. I think its time, I remembered this video and thought of you.
Thank you, Boss.
You'll never know how much you taught me.
Glad the work you put in gets perpetual attention. Well deserved my dude.
I wish TPP had more interior locations or a couple large bases like this. GZ may have been short but it’s a great map.
Norman Harris its really a great map, i put 35hs on ground zeroes and 85hs on phantom pain, and i did a lot, only 5 trophies remains
