    Coaches are never this much fun, man. Good on ya for not making it an intimidating experience for a young goalie, but something they can look forward to with a mix of competitiveness and fun and growing the mind and the skillset. Way fun!

    I prefer the lifting the net, putting the peg in the hole, and dropping for my putting in peg method.

    I was told a long time ago not to smack the pegs into the ice because it cracks the ice and makes it easier for the pegs to come out. Set the pegs down and put the net on them the weight of the net will sink the pegs into the ice and they’ll stay put. I don’t know the validity of that but I’ve set my pegs in nice and gentle for a while now. We need myth busters ice edition.
