Preston you were supposed to filter the ocean water by: having a big container having A CLOTH place the cloth in a container that has holes both top and bottom place the sand rocks and charcoal on the cloth pour the ocean water in depending on the salt percentage you may have to pour it multiple times and even after that it still might not be safe to drink
