- Babu is very talented musician he makes and sells Ek Taras. Plays songs on ektara in different languages. Has been hanging out in the parking lot of the Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel for the past 28 years doing on demand magic shows. He was awarded by ilayaraja and has played different songs for tollywood, kollywood and tamil films.

Hats off to this talented musician playing on two string instrument (not ektara or single string). He played songs very well like Ramayya Vastavayya, Mera joota hi japani, Ye teega poovuno, botany pathamundi and many more songs with ease and effortless. In my childhood i used to watch street vendors selling ektara instrument for Rs1 or 2 playing songs and children getting attracted to buy. However children do later recognize that it is not that easy to play the tunes on this instrument and get disappointed that they could not play and gradually lose interest. These musicians have to be encouraged to teach music to our children who show more interest in buying expensive instruments like guitars, violins, key boards etc. It is proven beyond doubt that music can be played any where, anytime, on anything if we have dedication and practice to learn.
