VERY unpopular opinion. Jackyl is easily one of the MOST underrated rock bands in the history of EVER... Been a fan since I heard down on me, when I was 9 years old.. LOVE these guy's
Anyone who's seen them live would agree. No denying the show. Might even think about some earplugs. I did security for Jesse at a show years ago. He just likes to be left alone rite before the show. Take his hatley out for a quick spin and he was a different person when he came back. Ready. Blew the roof off.. and it was an outdoor show!!!
Absolutely. These guys put out some amazing material. The fact that they got successful being a semi-hair band during the time of grunge makes it even more incredible
Went to the Show in Philly in July, was one of The Best Concerts I have ever been too, and I have seen alot of shows !! You guys are the TRUE Power of Rock and Roll !!

Love this song. Have been a fan of Jackyl since they hit the scene. Saw them Saturday night at the Dr Pepper Park in Roanoke, VA. These guys always put on a great live show! Full of energy and lots of punch 👊🏻

I thought I had seen where there was a brand of alchohol associated with them, but I was thinking it was more of a "legal" moonshine, and I was thinking that it was Jackyl (like Harley Davidson Beer, only Jackyl brand moonshine). I did google it before I replied just to spur my memory, but couldn't find anything on it. I guess I didn't ask the google wizard the right questions. I had decided I must have remembered it wrong and maybe it was a different band altogether. Good to know that I'm not totally mixing my memory yet (I'm just missing bits and pieces) -lol.
I did security for these guys at the Royal Grove Lincoln Nebraska.. great show. The first time I saw em , they were doing something like 100 shows in a 100 days . Flatbed truck quickie stage outside the record store across from the mall. I just stumbled on em. Never even heard of em before.. but I had my two little deaf kids with me.. they fucking loved it! It was the closest they'd ever get to hear music . Used to take them with me to the shows at the Grove. They'd meet all the musicians,.. dreads, tatted faced, colored hair.. it taught my kids tolerance - don't judge people by how someone looks... SO many good memories.
I met these guys in a little bar on the Ohio river in Cincinnati Oh. by the name of "Annies", after the show I had a beer w/ Jesse & co! I had Mr. Dupree autograph my bicep, & now I have a "Jesse" tattoo , the funny thing was that my wife got so pissed that we almost got divorced over it ! ! My wife eventually got over that particular tatt/ adventure & we are still married ! I explained it's nothin' but a Rock Thing ! Jackyl Rulz !
Jesse got his own bourbon now I drink it all the time he's got regular honey and spice and its so mellow and smooth I can drink whole bottle at a time love it love jackyl

I was told I would never own their first album that came out in 1992 about three years after I was told that I bought the album and I still have it and listen to it when I am in a funky /bad /down mood. It always brings me back up! I love Jackyl!!! And I think I have proven it!!!!!

If you ever get the chance to see them live, drop what youre doing and go. after the show they sit down and take pics, sign stuff, whatever you want. they don't leave until everyone goes through. Never seen anything like it. I didn't have anything to sign, so I grabbed one of there drink posters off the wall. Also got a pic with Jesse at the local liquor store and he signed my bottle. Great guys!!
This was the final song at this year's Jackyl show at the Full Throttle Saloon, Sturgis. Jesse was singing it while sitting on a motorcycle that was on a tightrope. Friggin' awesome! Let's hear it for 20 more years of Jackyl live shows!
You guys rocked the house at Bonnie & Clyde Gangster Park this past Saturday in Harshaw, WI. Hope you come back next year! Never was able to go to your concert until last Saturday and I was rt up front. Freaking awesome. You actually turned my fiancé to a Jackyl fan.
