It is 5 a.m
I have been laying in bed for a while, stewing about my alcohol addiction. I am an alcoholic. I have been wanting to quit for a long time. .I just got up and flushed all of the alcohol that I had in my possession down the toilet. I have never asked for prayer on the internet before. I want to get baptized next Sunday. If anyone reads this, please pray that I will not have severe alcohol withdrawals. Our Lord has told me to flush it before but I didn't listen. I finally listened. My name is Gabriel and I am a sinner.
I have Lied.
I have stole.
I have taken the Lord's name in vain.
I have committed adultery.
I have not honored my mother and father as I should have.
I have not listened to what our Lord has told me to do. I have squandered many opportunities that He has given me. I am.
That's what I feel like...just "I am". I don't know who I am anymore. I just feel like "I am". I went from carrying a pocket Bible in the front pocket of my coat, to being a sinner full of addiction and an addict full of sin.

PRAISE YAH!!!! This video was an answer to prayers that I've prayed desperately for so long!!! I was that person you talked about when you said that intensely desiring an encounter with God can distract you from an encounter with God. I'd be on my knees, BEGGING to feel something wash over me. And then I'd be so disappointed when i didn't feel anything. Bombarded by thoughts that maybe I just wasn't good enough.. Didn't have enough faith.. Was a sinner for too long.. to be blessed enough to receive it. MYYYY GOD!!!!! This convicted me SO HARD. I truly had NO CLUE that the Holy Spirit was already inside me! Please know that this video was LIFE CHANGING for me. I truly cannot thank you enough for opening my eyes. For giving my heart peace, and my mind stillness. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!! And THANK YOU FATHER, for the answer to my prayers. And for loving me unconditionally, ALWAYS. GOD IS SO SO GOOD, Y'ALL!!!

I was Filled but couldn't Speak in Tongues for a Long Time while Everyone around Me got Filled and I got Prayed for by Laying on of Hands but Zilch and I got Tired of Waiting to be Filled based on Laying on of Hands and I Asked and Prayed Continuously to the Lord and I Kept Asking until I got Filled and I Asked the Lord to Fill Me with Special Love Tongues Between Me and Him Until I Got Filled and It was Very Early Morning at Home Alone when the Lord Woke Me Up from No Reason at All So I Thought,it Happened,It was So Glorious and Beautiful and the Enemy Fought So Hard Trying to Stop Me from Breaking Through trying to Convince Me I was Inviting Evil Spirits and Made No Sense Babbling like a Child but the Lord Kept Telling Me to Continue,Wow was it some SERIOUS CONFLICT but JESUS ALWAYS WINS ,I Will Never Forget that DAY,I OVERCAME AMEN!!!!

What are you expecting? Focus on Jesus and perhaps begin to pray. Literal words are more important... See 1 Corinthians.
Note that utterances will roll out sorta spontaneously.
Don't put pressure on yourself. Holy Spirit has way more important things to help you with. Understanding scriptures, your direction, what is counterfeit vs real.
Let Him do that. Utterances are not nearly as necessary.

Hearing this is awesome! Today my son and I got baptized at the church God called upon me to go to. Even though this is my third time getting baptized, it felt different. I feel amazing! Even my son looks different. I'm so proud of my son for deciding to get baptized and accept Jesus Christ as his lord and Savior! This is my 7th favorite day of living.
