This song breaks my heart, I look at it differently. My former husband is a addict for 4yrs now and I finally divorced him a year ago but we have tried to reconcile multiple times but drugs always win. I had to end it, changing people places and things wasn't his top priority. I had to force myself to tell him I don't love him anymore to save my mental health but I mourn, it's torture.

I put in 19 year's with the love of my life and he cheated and become an addict and I lost him to loving someone else but the someone else was Crystal Meth. And it was the hardest thing to walk away but he would never put me and his daughters before his addiction and I was dieing more and more every day. Hard to lose someone to an addiction. But they need to make the choice on there own. You can't make it for them. I will love him for the rest of my life. My heart will never heal from this
