You may not have known it, but subconsciously perhaps you knew you were singing a song about the cognitive, emotional, and spiritual effects of being near, on, in and underwater. A writer named J. Wallace Nichols wrote about it in a book titled BLUE MIND. So... Oshima brothers, thank you for your reply when I wrote to you about Iolani, the school I went to in Honolulu, K through 8th grade! And Sean, you were so nice to answer that no, you did not go to school there, but had a friend named Iolani. I think it is one of the most beautiful Hawaiian names, meaning "heavenly bird". Again, thank you for being so very #bluemind in this song of yours. I do hope J (his middle initial/nickname he goes by) is not disappointed in this homage I am writing here, if he ever happens across it!
