5 speed gearbox is a drawback,but it was the one TVS using since the first gen Apache which comes with the same gearbox over the years TVS had tuned and improved the reliability of it

MAIN AND ONLY DRAWBACK OF APACHE RTR 2004V WHICH NO ONE EXPERIENCED IS ITS RR CONTROLLER , WHEN ITS RR CONTROLLER GOES OUT IT DRAINS THE BATTERY INTO - NEGATIVE CHARGING, AS A RESULT OF WHICH THIS BIKE HAS TO BE TOWED OFF, EVEN PUSH START WOULD NOT WORK.
