Los Santos was *wasted*

Hello everyone and welcome to the channel. In this video I’d like to go over the reasons that GTA V’s map is just kind of boring. Los Santos and Blaine County are lacking and have been for quite some time. Hopefully I can explain why I feel this way, Grand Theft Auto 5 has lasted much longer than it had any right to, mainly because of GTA Online. It’s a shame it was never updated in any way.

i think they really wanted the California coast highway, the loop highway is the main point of the 2nd top half imo. driving on the highways alone help the immersion a ton, the highways is what connects each zone is designed to be seen and driven past from highway. the highway isnt the quickest way tho since it curves around the city to provide views, the gps doesnt take you on the immersive path just small streets going 80mph

It was never about scale but traversal. And traversal is perfect. You can drive from point A to point B in a hundred different ways, if you ignore your GPS for a second. But 100% of GTA players are slaves to the purposely mid GPS. So basically until you let go of your old game design BS, you have never played GTA 5.
