I heard from somewhere in the Japanese community that this kit is also a reference to the Doraemon manga where the main character Nobita Nobi is too broke to buy a "Gundam model kit" (well a parody of it) and all he can afford is to buy a plastic model kit of a generic non-brand cup ramen, funny enough this Cup Noodle kit is almost the same price as a Gundam kit so the joke is kinda lost, probably due to licensing costs with Nissin.

Yo, hit those prawn stickers with a little bit of Tamiya Cement and they should melt right on to the surface. I've done this for RG stickers on a battle damaged custom build, and the solvent action does wonders to get the stickers tucked in to weird little nooks and crannies. Let it dry for a while (because while the cement is setting, any slight movement will obliterate the sticker,) and then give it a once over with some matte topcoat and I bet those prawns would look perfect, (and be much more durable over time.)
Awesome review!!! I love building Gunpla, so I personally wouldn't spring for this model kit, but it is well-designed and ingeniously hides many detail issues! Love the color separation for many of the parts!!! Thanks for showing it to us! I've always been curious about the non-Gundam model kits that Bandai puts out, so this review was very interesting and informative for me!!! Have you tried any of the Bandai Star Wars model kits or plan to do reviews of them in the future? Eagerly waiting for your next Gundam (or other mecha) review!!!

I just built a 1/144th Millenium Falcon. Quite a simple little kit but so much fun and looks excellent. Just undercoated it so far so needs paint!
