Yea so with anyone looking to do like a full straight pipe it is annoying with fart noise he was talking about, i have a 2014 charger rt, no cats no muffs no res with a 3in pipe out to 5in tips and yes its absolutely CRAZY how loud it is, but also yes that fart noise is extremely annoying, i will say this you do get used to it and what i do is i play with the pedal and the throttle and everytime it happens i make a pop with the exhaust when the farts are active lol
No. I think everyone I know with a 2014 and older never gets codes. I just helped a friend with his 2020 RT and he got codes and we did the exact same thing.
Yo bro is it better for me to get get my headers n cam done but have the machine take the cats off the get my tune then go to a muffler shop after it gets done ? Because i don’t want to get everything done then go catless then waste money on a brand new tune
Catless doesn't require a tune. But if you add longtube headers and a cam you will require a tune. I recommend getting it dyno tuned and not email tuned.
@@bigsumoanpresents-bigguysr3188 Correct because manual Challengers do not have MDS. My 16 RT is running 6.2/6.4 headers and catted mids and a 3" aFe straight pipe exhaust. I am about to replace the catted mids to non-catted and see how she sounds. I have MDS tuned out and always drive in Sport mode. I really hope I don't hear fart cans!!

It was great for all of 1 day then I toned it down a little bit more with super 10s. I'll be posting a follow up video with all the sound bites soon. Trying to let the mufflers settle in a bit.
The smell isn't too bad. It doesn't get in the car and it's only noticeable with the windows down while stopped. But definitly more air flow and power considering I put super 10s on.

That fart noise is cylinders turning off bro lol. Dodge made it so 4 cylinders turn off that’s why 5.7 ain’t good with any exhaust at cruising

The fart noise should be cylinders turning off G at least for chargers that’s why they do dodge made them like that
From my understanding if you have a manual transmission it doesn't have that feature.

@@armandogomez7882 yes it did help. It sounds nasty as hell on the top end and had a great sound when idle. Coldstarts were still loud as hell though

Nope just catless downpipes. You can also get the scatpack shorties for a little more airflow
