- This is your USB/iPod interface. It's located in the center console of your vehicle. When a compatible storage device such as an iPod® is plugged in, audio files can be played and controlled through the vehicle's audio system. When closing the center console lid, please make sure the cord is routed through this notch to ensure lid closure and cord integrity.

Is Infinity going to provide any kind of update for playing music through an Android device with USB?
What options are there in the event you do not have the navigation package, as without the navigation package there is no bluetooth/android availability.
I have the 2013 G37x, but without the navi system. How about now? How the heck do I get my android to do anything with my car now that you have selfishly removed the aux input now limiting my options. Please tell me!
What is the compatible video format? And, on 2007 infiniti G35 I was able to stream youtube from my android phone to the car monitor via RCA cables, as long as the parking brake is on. How can this be done on the new usb port interface?

Hi, I notice that the RCA input is not available anymore on model 2010+. Could you tell how I can play movie or music from my android phone (samsung galaxy s3) now? This is a deal breaker to me if newer model cant play movie or music from my phone...
If you use a USB thumb drive make sure it is formatted using FAT and not NTFS - It took me several days of playing around with this to finally figure it out. I'm happy to say i got all my tunes with me now. Wooo Hooo

Not helping me.. I have the problem: via usb it reads but says check connected device. Flash drives on Fat32, iPods, iPhones… None of them works

Just bought a 2012 G37x with Premium Package but no navigation. Apparently, this car has bluetooth calling for your phone but Infiniti only allows bluetooth audio streaming if you bought the navigation package... REALLY!!?? Just about every car that's worth 1/2 as much or less support bluetooth streaming but not a G37! And there's not even an aux input so that I can plug in with an analog cable. No excuse for this!

Well I guess I just found my reason why I haven't bought a g37.

Incredibly disappointing audio interface on the 2011 g37. Effectively no way to listen to music or streaming content from android phone.
Jonathan Miller I was able to listen to my lg android even though they didn't say it was supported. make sure the songs are mp3 and start playing a song then hook it up. I don't remember if I hit AUX and then the arrow to play but I did do that with the iphone I got later. Try some different things because I know my lg worked great. (I had a 2008 g37 and now I have a 2013) both work.

No it doesn’t have an aux input, best bet would to buy a cigarette lighter Bluetooth adapter to play music, you can find some on amazon for $20. Connects via Bluetooth to your phone and then you just use the radio stations to pair

aw man. i was this close to getting the 2013 g37 with premium package only (i use the waze app for navigation). but no bluetooth streaming for audio, and no aux input? how am i to listen to all my music using my android phone.

How come on the 2012 sedan my friend is able to plug in via usb in the center console using his iPhone 12 Pro max but the same can’t be said when I try using my iPhone 12 Pro.

Whoever decided that it would only play apple products and designed this audio interface should be shot / fired. Love this car... HATE THE STEREO. sure speakers sound good... Only thing I can fn use them for is the radio though so who cares. So DUMB!

Hello, if your INFINITI is equipped with USB Input Operation, you may insert a memory device and access content while operating the vehicle. To do so, simply open the console lid and connect a USB device. Then, push the DISC·AUX or AUX button repeatedly to switch to the USB memory mode.
