There's a tremendous amount of talent in the Democratic party right now and Josh Shapiro is most certainly one of those talents!
Are we sure Josh Shapiro isn’t the Clark Kent version of Jake Tapper on CNN?
Way smarter than Tapper. Carville once said that Penn. was basically "Philly in the north, Pittsburgh in the south, and Alabama in between." Any pol who can win the governorship in that state, has gotta be pretty damn sharp.
He wouldn't have been a bad pick, but I think Walz is just an exceptionally good electoral fit, and much more committed to the job. I'm sure he's a great governor for PA, and I hope he'll work to prevent a Trump presidency regardless.
Idk about Walz. He has a good aesthetic “coach” etc, but that’s only aesthetic. In Minnesota he didn’t win rural voters-he just bolstered the dem base. They need to win moderates and swing voters in order to win
❤Even though Josh was not selected as the VP candidate, i think he can and will contribute quite a bit to winning PA AND other states. Same for the others who were talked about for VP - Kelly, Buttigieg, Pritzker, Whitmer, Bashear, Cooper. All strong Democrats and all charismatic leaders.
@@schroederscurrentevents3844 Tim Walz says he won in a deep red area of the state when he first ran for Congress.
Tim Walz had a one seat majority in the local congress and was able to get so much progressive legislation passed to help the people of Minnesota. Imagine if he became president after Kamala and had the US House and Senate.
Stop trump once and for all
The DNC was a hare feast full of insults to Donald Trump. No policies, heavy on insults. The Americans are not joyful when they go to the gas station to fill out their cars, not joyful when they have to pay their mortgage, not joyful when they have to buy groceries. Americans are hurting. This joy and love doesn’t exit when you have people suffering. Inflation was low not up when Donald Trump was president. Gas was 1.87 when DonaldTrump left office. The best secure borders in the last 40 years under President trump. The world was not in fire with wars. Donald Trump offers the best solutions and if you are waiting for Kamala Harris to come up with better policies you are going to die waiting, because her policies continue to same they had in the last 4 years

I like Shapiro, but I was happy that Walz got the VP nomination instead. I think Walz has broader appeal than Shapiro, who just has good appeal in PA. But I think Shapiro has a great future in politics that I'm looking forward to seeing.

I have Pebtf medical insurance as a state of PA Employee. My medical insurance doesn't offer Fertility Treatment. What is Gov. Josh Shapiro going to do to help guarantee that PA families have medical access to fertility treatment and are protected when it comes to reproductive rights.
After watching this I'm glad Kamala chose Walz.
