Wow, that's quite different from my grandmother's sewing machine. Back then a sewing machine just being electric was a big deal. In the last few decades sewing at home seems have fallen out of fashion, though, I had no idea sewing machines had advanced so much since then.

I'm pretty used to 3D printers, CNC routers, lasers, vinyl cutters... i have a pretty decent idea how a car works... but sewing machines are somehow magical. How do they work?
Smoothen out the glitches and more effort in pre-production, production and post will definitely bring in more sponsors and advertisers. It’s a great product and a little polishing will make all the difference.
Not quite-- we made this for a public school district that acquired one of these for their students with a grant. We figured we'd make it public for you all too!
Janome machines are popular in schools and makerspaces for their embroidery functions. A "normal" sewing machine still works the same way, except maybe the auto threading and custom words-as-stiching effects.
