My name is Sam and together with my girlfriend Lyanne, I am on a quest to restore the beauty of this old Italian villa from 1895. Join us as we have to let go of our Dutch habits to fit in in our Italian surroundings, were the word 'plan' gets redefined and our tastebuds are awakened.
The goal of this project is to show that with limited financial means and a lot of optimism we can resurrect the beauty of this abandoned villa in a green and sustainable way. But most of all learn from everything that we encounter and enjoy it whilst we're at it. - Jak na to + styl

when is your dad coming back to help you ? love watching you working together, it so reminds me of my hubby and dad when they had the business. sadly i lost my hubby 3.1/2 years ago and my dad has dementia.
just like the 2 of you, words weren't always needed because they were so in tuned they worked not as 2 people but as 1 and you and your dad are the same. loving the dual contents of both garden and repairs.

One of the things I like about your videos is that you have an elastic and creative mind. Rather than do the expected, or what everyone else might do, you approach a problem by thinking outside the box. I look forward to seeing the finished product.
If you are trying to save money, you might consider buying a paint especially made to paint bathroom fixtures like tubs, sinks and toilets. It mostly just depends on whether you want to put in the sweat equity.

Whatever you are using to protect the beam actually has a really nice colour. It makes the timber look expensive lol.
Maybe use a paint roller, which provides a more consistent coverage and takes half the time compared to using a brush. Cheers.

Fireflies are amazing, have only ever seen them myself once before. I have found earthworms that were ' glow in the dark ' luminous green, including the soil around them. That was also once, on our holding.👍

I've seen on some other vlogs that they use a substance called PVA, I believe, on walls to keep the paint from peeling. Just a thought.
Great to experiment in that area, looking like it's working well so far. It will give you a clear method for the rest of it.👍

Savez vous que pour éviter de nettoyer votre bac à peinture à chaque fois il suffit de l'enfiler dans un sac plastique donc une fois votre peinture terminée vous jetez le sac et le bac est toujours propre, je crois qu'il y a un truc aussi pour les rouleaux et les pinceaux mais je ne m'en souviens pas, à voir dans les tutos peinture. Bon courage pour la suiite.
I love those fireflies! I saw a few this year. They seem to have been disappearing in Massachusetts, even though I have left at least a quarter of an acre un-mowed for several years, letting nature do its "thing." So sad.
