Hard choice but im picking L'HOMME IDEAL EXTREME
L’Homme Ideal Cologne is probably my favorite. The whole line rocks. So classy and refined.
Have you tried platine prive yet?
Yes I have ! they are very similar but not redundant. Platine is a somewhat more mature version of the cologne

Cologne is beautiful. Unfortunately only have a 10ml sample almost gone and didn't get a chance to pickup a bottle. Also really wanted to try Cool! Have you guys tried that one?

L’homme ideal extreme is by far my favorite. I never had a chance to smell the old bottle style so I’m extremely satisfied with the new bottle style I currently own.

I have a few Guerlain fragrances and I love them all...Vetiver, L'Instant de Guerlain EDP (The current LIDGE), and L'Homme Ideal EDP. It's really hard to pick a favorite because I like each one in different situations. Vetiver for spring, Ideal and LIDGE for fall/winter.
As a side note, my mom has been wearing Guerlain Shalimar EDT longer than I've been living and I am 46. Of course, Shalimar was the original Oriental fragrance and has been sold to the public for nearly 100 years
My favourite must be the l'homme ideal extreme. The cherry note hits so well with the tobacco.
My favorite is cologne. Love the freshness and year round versatility.
My favorites from the line are the Extreme and Eau de Parfum. The cherry almond combo to me is perfection. Bought the Extreme before a business trip from the airport. It was my first trip abroad, and I wanted something which will work well in colder weather. It did the trick, It was the first time I got compliments from clients and colleagues and it instantly became my go-to scent and has reserved a special place in my collection ever since. On my way back, I had to get the EDP and it's great too.
The EDP is for sure my favorite. That incense note with the cherry drives me crazy

My favorite from the Ideal line is the OG. It's just more versatile than the EDP to me, which is also great, as well as the d/c Ideal Cologne. The entire line is actually amazing...one of the best lines out their in the designer world.
To each their own, I didn’t like it and gave it to my brother in law. Edp and cologne are great and hope to get extreme.
I think my favorite so far is the EDP. That cherry note is so nice.
Hey Ash, I’m a big fan of the whole line. If I had to pick one it’d actually be L’Homme Ideal L’intense.. I think the addition of smoke, and pepper gives it a very unique and masculine feel

Guerlain L’homme Ideal Extreme is definitely my favorite. I got myself a decant and fell in love with it. Now i will say i fell into the trap that the red bottle and new bottle could be different. I would love to be able to get that OG bottle to calm my nerves haha
I've used both the Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDT and the L'Homme Ideal EDP... and I'm definitely picking the EDP as my favourite. A little expensive here in India but definitely worth it 🙌🏼

Just got the L'Homme Ideal EDP a few days and instantly became my fave. Idk why I still wear it here since it's the hottest summer in a while in our country. Second is the L'Homme Ideal L'Intense and I get more compliments in this. Thanks Ash!
I really like the entire line, unfortunately my favorite is discontinued, which was l'homme ideal cool and when you find it, you pay a huge premium. It was such a great cheapie for a while.
Talking about bottle style; i really like the slightly different stickers and caps, so the bottles look great next to each other, but are still distinct.
You can still biy GHI Cool in all over Hungary in the Müller stores.
I would have to say L'homme Ideal the original edt for me. Love the almond note. Fantastic scent.

Guerlain is so fantastic. I have Vetiver and Heritage EDT, and have sampled Homme EDP, LIDGE, L'Instant de Guerlain EDT, Habit Rouge EDT, L'Homme Ideal EDT, EDP and Cologne. All are so, SO great.
This is insane! I have both and I’m telling you that it’s almost impossible to tell a difference. If your not a person who is on the verge of being able to perfume a fragrance, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TELL!!! Ash isn’t the end all be all so don’t let him trick you into thinking there’s a difference. I have both an honestly I wear the newer one more and I love it the exact same and feel the exact same when I wear it. If you think there’s a difference it’s ONLY because you want there to be a difference. Same thing with the edp!!!!!

I bought the new bottle recently after finishing my last bottle last year. The reason I'm watching this video is the fruitiness does not remain for long. I could be wrong for sure. But I feel the dry-down comes a lot earlier compared to the previous bottle. Hope it's all in my head.🤞

My favorite from L'Homme Ideal line is definitely L’homme Ideal EDP. It carries that great Guerlain L'homme sweet signature smell. The sweet lavender, almond and cherry notes gives this fragrance enough versatility to be worn all year around.

I've never smelled any of the Geurlain fragrances, so I don't have a favorite personally but its always nice to watch your videos and learn more about different fragrances that I haven't gotten my nose on.

Hi, Luckly I do have 3 from this line, all newest formulations and they are all unique for the line. Sport, L'intese and Extreme. Out of the 3, Extreme has to be my favorite.

I was supposed to get Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Extreme yesterday. It was one of two fragrances I was supposed to get. Only got one, and no receipt or invoice was in the box. Additionally, the box was too small to have two bottles. This is my favorite in the line and I'd love to be selected to get this giveaway. Recently ordered what I thought was the original L’Homme Ideal extreme and what came was the new style one and I agree doesn’t seem to have the same punch and depth as I remember it. With that said, I’d love to win the original!
Out of the line, my favourite is L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum! Perfectly balanced being bright and fruity whilst being classy snd elegant.
So far my favorite is the only one I've tried -- Guerlain L'Homme Ideal for Men EDT, but I do like that one. So many things on the "to get" list already. . .

Here's a pro tip. If there is a brand new release that you happen to really like, it might be worth it to buy a back up bottle along with the bottle you plan on using. It's the only way to know for sure and not have to deal with this bs.

Guerlain L’homme ideal extreme is by far my favorite. I had been searching for it a long time and found it at the airport in Frankfurt at the beginning of a vacation in 2022. Now many great memories are tied to it!

The L’Homme ideal line is my absolute favorite line of sweeter, more gourmand fragrances, particularly because none of them are too sweet for my tastes. I have EDP, Cologne, and I’m looking into getting the original.
What i have noticed- this may only be me, but after getting my newer bottle delivered it was quite different and the scent didnt last as long. Since then, around like 4 months, the scent has settled down and I have no more complaints. This isnt the only fragrance that I have experienced this.
My favorite is L'Himme ideal cologne! Fantastic fragrance and unique in its own right I use it sparingly!

Dialing down both the sweetness and plum and pulling forward the leather is a positive for me. I don’t look for sweetness in my frags, so I will be seeking out the updated formulation.
I get what you're saying. I think the old forumula may be sweeter which tends to lead a little more to the feminine side when they get too sweet.
L’homme Ideal Edp was my introduction to the line, and still has my heart to this day for those sentimental reasons. Appreciate you Ash! One of my fave channels in frag comm.
This is a tough choice because this is my favorite fragrance line. I’ll go with the OG L’homme Ideal EDT since it’s my fav dumb reach frag. I can wear it to any function, any setting, at any time of year and know that it’ll work.
Ideal EDF is my new favorite fragrance. Great for the office!
I like the citrusy Guerlain L’Homme Platine Prive - a great warm weather scent now that the sun is coming back out

I've only had the original and just recently got the parfum and between those two I prefer the parfum. That cherry sweetness is to DIE for!!!! 😊

I personally love the Guerlain Vetivers, the original and intense!
I have smelled the new version in airport duty free shops in Europe and thought it was lighter. Recently on a trip to Aruba I found the old version in a duty free shop. 50ml for $60 because they were clearing out the older line. I couldn't pass it up at that price. I got to say it was night and day difference on the strength and longevity of the scent from the new version.
By far, my favortire is L’Homme Ideal Cologne. Such an amazing Spring/Summer scent. One of my go to scents this time of year.
Guerlain L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum hast to be my favorite from the line a very unique scent.
I think that L'homme Ideal Extreme is the best for more official situations, and EDP is more cozy, date night stuff.

Love Guerlain fragrances. Definitely extreme is my favorite. That plum with nuance of tobacco is fantastic. I had a chance to try out the unreformulated 2021 batch, that thing is beast mode. I got 12+ hours on my skin.

L'Homme Ideal Extreme is the only one i have teied in the line as i'm pretty new to the fragrance world, but this is a masterpiece of a fragrance.

I've only tried the original EDT, Cologne, the EDP, and Extreme. Extreme is only one I own a bottle of and is def my favorite. But I have the new formulation and I'm not surprised by this video because I was slightly underwhelmed when I first tried it based on all the hype and the performance was abysmal off my skin. So everything you said makes a lot of sense! Still a gorgeous scent though so I'd LOVE to have the original formulation! Please let the gods pick me!🤞

I love the new bottle style over the brand having multiple frags in different bottles. I like the conformity I like the shape. They look masculine. As for the colors I think on the whole the new line up looks better being all uniform but individually I like the bottles with the painted sides. The white bottle being my favorite
