Most of my friends take study loan + interest. Asking from family and friends is almost impossible unless they are abundantly rich. Islamic bank loan without benefits have very strict requirements here (e.g. work for gov, too low of income only - not middle class, or only businesses). This is honestly easier said than done in a system that heavily relied on riba.
I guess the most realistic method for the common people is to aim for scholarships...

Guys a word of advice, for those of you that want to go to university but can't afford it I would seriously recommend seeing if an apprenticeship would be better suited for your career choice, if not then take a gap year save up then continue your study part time, true it will take longer but you will be financially better off after uni and you won't have to take a student loan insha'Allah also depending on the job you do whole you study you may even gain a large amount of beneficial experience, may Allah SWT make it easy for you all ameen.
Yes I regret my degree, it doesn't help you in the world nowadays except for certain subjects like medicine. It's a money making scheme.

When I took a loan for my first year, I was unaware of the student loan paying back with interest.
I thought if I am not able to pay back the amount, then I would be charged interest.
Now I know it's haram, and I took the loan knowingly for my second year. I am in total despair as it is hard to work and maintain the family as an older sibling and study.
The alternatives mentioned in most videos are pretty near to impossible, plus you're not encouraged by your surround to take the alternative options.
In Uk, if you don't study because of riba, then you must go to work. You can't sit home. If you to work, then you pay tax.
I mean, the loan is haram, and so much chaos in alternative.

Then do not go to college, get a small job and either save up so you can go to college later or spend time studying a skill like programming, electrical engineering or social media marketing on your own with free online resources and use the money you earn from your small job to pay for tools and advertisement. Same, I applied for scholarship and got it. My uni told me that it's 50 percent scholarship and 25 percent financial aid that they are offering due to my remarkable grades. I had an interview and they were pleased and I accepted this. Now after I graduated. My uni gave me 10 lac to repay. I was utterly shocked and stunned as it was never told or even pointed out during all these years. Keep in mind I was paying my uni fee that was left outside the scholarship. I just graduated a few months back and have NO idea how to go about all this. Me alongside my father went to talk about this and they clearly said no it was all just aids and now u have to pay back. How on earth can they change a scholarship and call it aid when I had a certain GPA that I had to maintain to keep that scholarship in the first place. It had to be 3.7 above about of 4 which was very hard for me but I did it. And now they tell me that it was merely an aid that they granted which I have to pay back now???? I'm so confused with all this. Can someone help

Education loan is absolutely necessary for most the economical weaker students.
Amirul in England, Student fees are around £20,000 a year (including living Loan for accommodation / food etc) there is no way even a well off family can save up £80,000 at once for one child to go to University.
The only alternative would be to not be educated / educate your children, which will seriously ruin ones life.
The fault and sin lies in the economical setup and there’s not much you can do.

Its not possible to avoid loans or credit cards. Not everybody can get zakait for such a large amount and not everybody has rich relatives. So its practically impossible.

Person will be excused if there is no means of interest free loan and nobody is ready to fund you, the reason is because education is a basic right, same ruling will apply in the case of house.. Fuqaha has permitted that in the case of necessary but it doesn't mean interest is halal but the person will be excused because basic rights is also important otherwise Muslims will be stomped by the other people, if person is dying so he may consume only that amount of filth or haram flesh which will let him to be alive and person will be excused here, remember that life is a race if we won't run fast we will be stomped by others
Its best not to take the loan in the very first place. Don't say that he don't realise that interest is charged on the loan as there must be documents to be sealed in advance.
I appreciate there is pressure on Muslims regarding student loans and their policy on usury. Indeed I love the Islamic policy on usury and wish it is mainstream practice in all of society. However unless there is a change in the law for all, to exempt Muslim students from usury in student loans is discrimination. One cannot combine religion with secular activity. If one does then either the UK is all Muslim, or all Christian or all Buddhist for that matter. It does not work, and cannot work. We are to be accepting and tolerant of each other's spiritual belief, but we are all to be under a common secular law. After all be he Muslim, Christian or Jew, all are to observe the same speed limits.

My parents can't afford my studies some saying about taking loan's but I spend one more year on couching . By the grace of Allah SWT I got good rank in exams and more than that I got financial support in a halal way...
You can go to college later, get a job or learn a skill until you have the ability to get a job other start a business.

I rely on student loans. I come from a non-Islamic family and I had no idea that having these types of loans is a sin. I'm only using the loans to attend school, otherwise what is the point? Colleges and Universities are just getting more greedy and the tuition is not going to ever decrease. The government can only give so many grants to students, this is why I rely on loans. I don't attend a fancy, expensive school but an average cheaper one which isn't cheap at all. I can only work minimum wage and this doesn't cover 100% of my rent.
Now I'm feeling bad because of such sins. What can I do? I really needed that money to better my life with education. I didn't do it for the worse.
I feel you should continue your study and finish your study as per u are doing now. Later repent to Allah for not knowing it earlier and also we all don't have the capacity to pay it on our own. Surely Allah will understand your will and know that He is the most merciful, most forgiving. Payers for your well being sister. ❤️

I'm Tanzanian, 99% of muslim university students get this loan , I'm going to share this video to to make sure they stop taking this loan any longer. I'm sure 80% will drop studies since they cannot afford expenses.

Where are such banks sir.I cant believe someone gives money without interest to people.
I live in india and i am a true supporter sir,but there is always problem with money,i dont believe people are paying 2.5% zakat.I dont believe banks are there who can help everyone get interest free loans.I dont believe we can get money during hardships like when someone has big disease,education in good college,buying a house etc etc.
I havent seen kindness in my life,i dont know people who have done something for others.

Very important question for college student.
I am looking forward to see Dr sahab reply because I will take admission in university next year.
But I already told my dad I will not take admission in world top public university UC Berkeley if I have to take loan with interest.
Rather I would join affordable university like UC Davis which is near my home. I don't need to like on campus.
Worst case scenario, I would get associate degree in my field at my community college. Then I would work and save money for university admission but I will never take loan with interest but it is haram in Islam.
If the base of my income aka degree is haram then how can I hope for the blessing of Almighty Allah.

In reality, Riba (interest) is one of the greatest major sins that’s up there with the likes of Shirk, witchcraft, murder Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “A time will come upon people in which they will consume usury.” It was said, “All of the people?” The Prophet said, “Whoever does not consume it will be affected by its dust.”

Sister be best version of yourself what you can maximum do, do it according to Quran and sunnah, no one can completely follow Quran and sunnah but we are trying out best, and inshaAllah Allah SWT will be pleased of you, whenever you made a sin repent asap, Allah SWT is the most merciful, whenever there is something you have doubt of whether halal or haram leave that thing because even if it is halal it wouldn’t give you any benefit if you left it your reward is with Allah SWT. Always be conscious of him. As long as you are doing your best following sunnah and Quran inshaAllah, Allah SWT will be pleased of you.

Narrated Ibn `Umar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Amongst the trees, there is a tree, the leaves of which do not fall and is like a Muslim. Tell me the name of that tree." Everybody started thinking about the trees of the desert areas. And I thought of the date-palm tree but felt shy to answer the others then asked, "What is that tree, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "It is the date-palm tree."

According to the Bible, who is the Comforter?
-The Comforter is called the Spirit of Truth:
Jesus says, "But when he, the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all truth" John 16:13. This means everything the Comforter said and did would have to be truth. Not subjective truth that one person could decide was right and another person could decide was wrong, but absolute truth which would remain so regardless of culture or historical context. Did Muhammad do this? The answer here would have to be no. Muhammad allowed his men to kill and enslave their enemies. The Comforter says we are to love our enemies and bless those who curse us. Jesus said this in Matthew 5:44 and the Comforter agrees. This one example is enough to state that, because Mohammad did not always point people to truth, he could not be the Comforter written of in the Bible.
-The Comforter will not speak on his own:
Jesus further describes the Comforter by saying, "He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come" John 16:13. When this was written, Jesus was saying that the Comforter would be speaking to His disciples telling them of what is yet to come. Historically, Muhammad never saw the disciples of Jesus, let alone spoke with them, so there is no way he could be the Comforter Jesus spoke concerning.
-The Comforter would be eternal:
In John 14:16 Jesus says, "And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth."
Historically, we are very aware that Muhammad was born at some point around 570 A.D. and that he died around 632 A.D. This statement alone which was made by Jesus disqualifies Muhammad from being the Comforter.
-The Comforter would be "in" the disciples:
Jesus says in John 14:17, "But you know him for he lives with you and will be in you." Only a Spirit can dwell inside a man. Muhammad was a man therefore could never dwell inside another man.
-The Comforter would be sent in Jesus' name:
Muhammad was never sent "in Jesus' name but rather came with his own mission and his own "revelations" which he claimed were from God. Because he did not come in Jesus' name, he could not be the Comforter.
-The Comforter would remind people of what Jesus said:
Jesus states, "But the Comforter... will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" John 14:26. Again, Jesus was talking to the disciples. Muhammad could not possibly be the Comforter because he was not born when the disciples were living. Another reason why Muhammad could not be the Comforter is because he did not remind people of what Jesus said, but rather contradicted many things Jesus taught. An example where Muhammad contradicts the teachings of Jesus is where it comes to the treatment of enemies and slaves. Jesus taught people to love their enemies and treat servants like brothers. Muhammad taught that enemies should be given an opportunity to repent and if they didn't they could be killed and slaves were to be treated like cattle if the owner desired to do so (see Qur'an 5:33, 8:12, and 9:5). Again, Muhammad is disqualified from being the Comforter.
-The Comforter would be a spirit:
Jesus said, "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you" John 14:26 (emphasis mine). Jesus clearly called the Comforter a spirit and not just a spirit but the holy spirit. This means the Comforter would be righteous, perfect, and Holy as God Himself is holy. Because Mohammad was a man and no a spirit, he could not be the Comforter.
-The Comforter would testify of Jesus and He could be sent first to the disciples:
Jesus said, "When the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me" John 15:26. Did Muhammad testify of Jesus? Did he remind his followers of what Jesus said and did? AND did he do these things first with the disciples of Jesus? The answer to each one of these questions is a resounding no. He told stories about Jesus but contradicted Jesus's claims. When speaking to his followers, he was not teaching them about Jesus. And, again, he was not born anywhere near the time of Jesus' disciples and could not have been sent to them.
-The comforter would bring glory to Jesus:
Jesus states, "He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you" John 16:14. Muhammad did not take from Jesus and give to his followers teaching and ways of living which were in accordance to Jesus' teaching and living. Muhammad gave his followers a different way of living and different rules to live by which Jesus would not have been pleased with. He therefore did not bring glory to Jesus and cannot be the Comforter of which Jesus spoke.
אַדִיר לוֹחֶם The comforter will be send but according to bible it was there already, and where did the holy spirit came and you saw him and guided you and praised jesus PBUH, the comforter will say what Jesus PBUH said, in the Quran there are verse where jesus PBUH speaks about his people and asks Allah SWT for a table of food. And other like when he said that i am a prophet and my lord and your lord is Allah SWT, the same Jesus said our lord is one.

Non of the prophet like Noah, Moses or Abraham. Worshiped Allah pbuh. They all worshiped Yahwey. Christ Jesus son. Of God worshiped Yahwey. So who is this guy Allah pbuh.
Allah is basically "The God" not some person and we cannot imagine Him, so for example universe did not magically come right? Someone had to do it logically and that someone we refer as Allah. And how do we confirm? By Quran(Allah's revelation) and its countless prophecies that came is nowadays true. In quran it is also written that Bible(Also God's word) has been altered and has contradictions, and so Quran was revealed as a guardian over it and final message of God.
