Yep. I bought this bootleg in early 1979. And when I heard this song I said damn, Bruce is singing the song the same way Van Morrison would. So soulful!
Bruce gave this great song to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes for his first album.
I don't hear Van here; it you like hearing him channel Van Morrison, there's live versions of New York City Serenade from late 1974 and in 1975 that definitely sound influenced by him.
There are a couple of acoustic versions of The Fever from the Liberty Music Hall from Austin, Texas in 1974 that definitely have a Van Morrison type feel.
