Diamond Back Off-Ride Footage, Frontier City Arrow Launched Loop | Non-Copyright

Diamond Back at Frontier City in Oklahoma City is one of three remaining Arrow launched shuttle loops. This steel coaster was relocated from Six Flags Great Adventure, where it ran as Lightning Loops from 1978 to 1992. This coaster may be short, but it has one of the craziest airtime moments of any coaster.

That drop in the back looks to give a maybe a decent pop of mild flouter, or maybe even stronger.

I've never been to Frontier City, but since I live off of I-44 maybe I can go on a road trip to SFFT and stop at SDC, Frontier City, and SFOT sometime. I've heard good things about this coaster and I wanna ride it someday. But it'll have to be after my trip to King's Island and Cedar Point (I'm gonna try and make The Beast my 50th coaster)

this is fine ride for me,as a coaster entusiaste,arrow are pretty good at those shuttle loops.well,they arent as strong as their counterparts from schwarzkoph,but they are still cool.they are also rare too,only 3 remained,and this one is actually a part of lightnin' loops at great adventure,a ride that operated there from 1978 to 1986,it was turn down after an accident and in 1993,one of its parts was brought to this park.so what are my thoughts about the ride.first of all,my least favorite thing of this ride are the launches,this ride have two launches,one forward and ne backwards,they arent that great and yeah,pretty lame.it is such a week launch,and it feels like a faster roll to those drops.however tho,the ride is still fun,the ride have some good pops of air in between the drops.honestly i enjoyed the loop too,the loop is nothing speicel,but fairly forceful one,and riding it backwards is much better.so yes,it isnt like thos one from schwarzkoph,but they are a still fun rides and a unique one to your credit as well.
