The vocal bass is one of the softest bass for your throat to handle and for me as a vocal bass user, my throat never hurts when I use vocal bass.

@spacegcdv2639 Yeah, but the difference is it's not using the throat to make the sound. It's specifically using the uvula. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to do it without vocalizing.

Quick tip to dry your throat is try to do exact same thing but inward and this way also helps to catch the spot of high frequency vibration and play with it. Spent few days getting to this bass.
For me it was easier to start with the high pitched, high frequency version of the sound, since everything is more contracted and closer together and then slowly working on going down in pitch and creating more space. You can also do the vibrations inward but it's hard to add vocal undertone.
Also who the hell rolls their R with uvula, that's crazy..

Pretty sure its Vocal Bass (aka making the sound R with throat and not tongue), the more you practice it and the further you push it the more refined it will come and after a while it won`t sound that bubbly anymore but smooth, if you check out pwads first popular appearance (called PWAD | Smoothest Bass on Swissbeatbox) you can distinguish the bass better from throat bass

quick tip, if something is inward you can see their shoulders usually rise the longer they hold it.
Tip vor the vocal bass (this is how i picked it up easily) try to pronounce the R (rolling) and G (hard G, easy for dutch people) at the same time and try and make a sound using your vocal chords while doing so.

I think the bass (not the vocal the other) is not inward cause he use a liproll to breathe, has to be high vibration and vocal fry like Enel or something like that
It’s a uvulal vibration much like alexhino, but it’s closer in the mouth and much tighter. Think of Marge Simpson but tighter and more support to the throat.
