I somewhat feel like this was an audition for the Chanel job, which could be very interesting.
Unbelievable. I immediately understood the story, he kept his voice while reimagining himself, the craftsmanship is out of this world. Home run. Bravo!

Thom Browne's designs are known for all things fantasy, outlandish and pure creativity. The Thom Browne Houte Couture Fall/Winter 2024/2025 runway show is no exception. Once again, Mr. Browne showed that wearability and whimsicality are NOT incompatible.
At the same time, a couple of the trends in haute couture and fashion in general were noticeable in this Thom Browne Houte Couture Fall/Winter 2024/2025 runway show.
First, as the models glided their mile-long legs along the runway, one fashion trend this season is very notable: boots, notably knee-high boots, are in style again.
Second, see-through dresses that celebrate the human body and challenge conventional views are HOT 🔥 this season. Models wearing transparent clothes did not just grace the runway of this fashion show, but others as well.
Third, daywear, i.e., Houte Couture is really trending. The fashion industry is making an clear statement that fashion is incorporating Houte Couture into the modern wardrobe.
Fourth, long, loose-fitting oversized coats and shorts received sizeable representations in this Thom Browne Houte Couture Fall/Winter 2024/2025 runway show. At the end of the show, even Mr. Browne himself appeared wearing them. With its classy appeal and comfortable attitudes, long, loose oversized coats and shorts continue to be in-style in 2024. The trend will likely spill into 2025 as well

what a great collection!!!! so in love!
I was trying to discern the theme of this incredible art show… the three metal jackets near the end were both, like mannequins in a department store window, but also like the Olympic podium of event winners. And the rest were like either stone or plaster statues come to life, with the asymmetrical layers being like windows across time. Such an interesting show, splendid musical accompaniment, and brilliant designs. Most of these will never be worn as is, they’re only for the runway, but I’m definitely interested to see the adaptations that will be sold.

the two dresses with the long draped extravagant sleeves were sublime. the rest melded into on forgettable collection. literally all i remember are those two dresses. as for thom brown himself, men that age that wear their out of date signature style are a bit cringe. like the expression mutton dressed as lizard. needs a bit of modern POV. also the long side short side skirts are way way out of fashion and he wasn't even the one who originated them. deconstructionism is best left to young Belgians

I can appreciate the theatrics of a fashion show but I will never understand this deliberate ploy to feminize men in this way, its lazy and uncreative..I see beautiful silhouettes and tailoring with the oversized jackets but this won't be taken seriously..
