Saw Spear a few times in the eighties and for my money Kirk was one of the best frontmen at that time. The World Service tour was superb and his voice was truly an amazing instrument! No-one has before or after has sounded like Theatre of Hate, essential for any musicophile to check out. Thanks for the interview Warren :)

Kirk has been in so many of our lives with his music, he is a gentleman and scholar speaking out about SSRIs' their unwanted side effects on the brain , his voice gives me goosebumps especially World Service , we are Legion .

One of my favourite channels interviewing one of my favourite songwriters. Wonderful to see Kirk and Warren talking and so at ease! I was born in 1990, but my Dad was huge fan of ToH and SoD. Years later I would end up supporting both bands here in the UK, and Kirk is exactly like this in real life - articulate, gregarious and with a sharp wit that powered those songs. Wonderful video!

October 81, went to see the Clash at Sheffield Lyceum. ToH were the support the sound was total pants. Just a low end rumble that masked everything. I turned to my and laughed saying “ u can’t make it out but I think he’s singing do yo believe in the Westworld “. A few months later it’s in the charts.

I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing Kirk, along with Mission UK and The Chameleons here in Kansas City last weekend. Had never seen any of them live and was psyched for the show! So my heart sank when I received the email from the club on the morning of the gig.
Their Coach broke down in Denver and our show the next night was the only one that was canceled. I had my ticket for nearly two years. The tour was postponed last October. So after waiting another year, it was just not to be. I love Kirk's music, as well as the other two bands. Nothing but eternal Respect. 👍

I can't believe I'm asking this for the fourth time, but given the very recent death of the main songwriter and guitarist, Tom Verlaine, and the bands important influence on punk, post punk and indie, please, please consider doing a retrospective on Television. This was a band, who were making demo single with Brian Eno, before Talking Heads and David Byrne, before Bowie, and U2, before it was hip to work with Eno. Their story is important for so many artists, and their influence massively understated and unsaid
