I remember my first time flying I had a panic attack as we were taking off and I started to cry and I was squeezing my boyfriend's had and I just kept repeating "we're going to die" LOL we were FINE

I love your videos so much. This storytime is wild, so glad you're okay! I just uploaded a storytime in which I almost died as well.
I went to Bali last year for vacation. I had a layover in Malaysia. My flight from Malaysia back to my hometown airport was 17 hours and I never once left my seat 😭😭😭. I didnt pee for 17 hours because I didn’t want to ask the people next to me to move
So this seems either fake or WAYYYY over exaggerated. The worst I would suspect is possibly a fault with the generators, causing the plane to switch to standby power (hence the lights shutting off) and then the pilots then purposefully shutting down the engines to sort out the issue without wasting fuel. Failures of both engines are so rare I could count the amount of incidents on my fingers, and if it did happen it would be very highly publicized, not to mention that no pilot EVER would just takeoff after such and incident. I spent a fair amount of time researching trying to find this incident and found NOTHING. I try to understand that sometimes these things can be traumatizing but the fact that there is no account of this anywhere on the internet makes me think this was either an extremely minor issue that was exaggerated for views or it just didn’t happen at all.
If you have an exact date maybe I could locate some evidence of this flight and I would honestly like to learn more about what happened.
