Thanks for the positive comments on my video. My wife and father both were born in Salem, and I am a member of The Salem TV station. I never had the opportunity to meet Elizabeth Montgomery, but when I was 12 I did ride up in an elevator with her dad, the actor, Robert Montgomery.. It rained when they dedicated Elizabeth's statue. It also was a rainy day when her star was unveiled in 2008 in Hollywood. Maybe Liz/Samantha twitched. 😀 I've read that Bill Asher never stopped loving her, according to Herbie Pilato, Elizabeth Montgomery's biographer.. R.I.P. Hi Kerry, I never met Elizabeth Montgomery, but when I was twelve years old and on a trip to NYC I rode up in an elevator with her father, James, an actor of the 40's and 50's. It was at NBC Studios in the city. It's strange that I was the one to document the dedication of her statue in Salem many years later. Dave Welsh
Thanks, Robert, it's nice that you know this. When i was 12 years old my parents brought me to NYC to visit the NBC studios. I knew quite a bit about the radio and television industry. I took an elevator up with Robert Montgomery and was thrilled. This was way before Elizabeth was born. Some years later I participated in the dedication ceremony for the Elizabet Montgomery "Samantha" statue in downtown Salem.

i think of all the bewitched episodes i like the best one is samantha goes south for a spell of which she is send back in time to old new orleans
I tolerated Bewitched when nothing better was on... But never really liked it that much... But man oh man Elizabeth Montgomery was fun to look at
