I really enjoy watching, there is a ways to make curls using strips of material. I find old t shirts work best, there not to thick. Cut strips twice the length of hair and about 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide. You hold the material on top of head leaving some at top to tie after the hair is wraped. You wrap the hair around the strip overlapping hair on top of each other just like you did with the pipe cleaners, Kind of like a spiral. Once you get half way down the strip of material, you wrap the remaining material up the hair and make a bow with the material on top of head. This helps keep hair smooth. Let hair dry over night. Then you pull out material like you tried with the pipe cleaners. I use to do my girls hair this way when they were little. I hope this helps and you try. Takes practice so don't give up or get frustrated. You can also reuse the material. Stay safe and keep doing your videos, thank you and God bless

Cloe's hair reminds me of Chanel Oberlin in season one for some reason. It was a braided bun not a heart but I was getting the vibes you know? LOL but for the curls, when it comes to the look it's not about what tool you use (straws, rods, etc.) or the method of setting the curl (boil, blow dry, etc.) cause the styles are not the same. What matters is how you wrap the hair. You twisted the hair rather than laying it flat on the pipe. When you're twisting the hair you're making a wave. When the hair is flat on the pipe the hair is evenly dispersed and will give that ringlet curl you're looking for. Also the thinner the tool, the tighter the curl. So if you're looking for massive curls use a thicker tool like boba straws. But always make sure you set it with a hairspray or gel because these hair styles will loosen up no matter what.

Do you rinse the fabric softener out of the doll's hair? Doesn't leaving it in make it a little sticky?

AzDoesMakeUp if you want ringlet curls you need to use straws and secure them them with bobby pins then after that put it in boiling water for about 1minute

AzDoesMakeUp you should have use hair moose to put on the curls then they would have been more curly🤗
maybe you could try to put phoebes hair tighter and more close together when winding a piece around the pipe cleaner?
That's actually really smart to use a dog brush, I don't like the brushes THE doll comes with and I use my own, I like the video tho u did really good❤️

Girl use straw and pin it will make a really curly hair what the ponytail but you did a good job with the braids
I got a detangle brush from ebay for £3 and it works wonders with doll hair :D But a dog brush is good idea!

Curling with pipe cleaners would work better on kanekalon hair. Saran is horrible when it comes to curling. If you ever curl Saran with pipe cleaners again, hair spray it before you take them out.
What should I do if the doll have to much fizz ? And is gel good for the dolls hair ?
