Just some backstory to add context to this scene: Long ago, a drop of magical sunlight fell from the sky and sprouted a flower with healing powers. Upon discovering it, an old beggar woman named Mother Gothel hides the flower and uses it to stay young for centuries, until royal soldiers from the nearby kingdom of Corona find and uproot it to save their pregnant and ill Queen. The Queen gives birth to a baby princess with long golden hair. While the king and queen are sleeping one evening, Gothel discovers the hair has the same powers as the flower, but turns brown and becomes powerless when cut. She kidnaps the girl, named Rapunzel, and raises her in a hidden tower in the woods, using her hair to stay young.
Each year, on Rapunzel's birthday, the king and queen release thousands of sky lanterns in hope she will see them and return home.

There’s a sequel series to tangled “tangled the series” which is really good! Especially the songs. Jeremy Jordan actually voices one of the new characters and has a few songs, “let me make you proud” and the reprise of that “ready as I’ll ever be” and “nothing left to lose” with Eden Espinosa.

That's not a frog it's a chameleon. And the chameleon is Rapunzel's sidekick named Pascal.
Also Rapunzel's hair is much much longer than what it shows in the song. In the song she has it done in a braid so people don't trip over her really long hair.
Pascal? So, there's a Princess and a guy and a chameleon? Pascal's triangle?...No?...Oh, well..
When she said frog, I quoted the movie, "Chameleon. Nuanced."
Mandy Moore has an incredible voice. She is extremely talented 👏🏻 😍
The queen of energy when it comes to Disney princesses. Also, her voice is so adorable.
Mandy and Zac are a rare pair who are perfect for duets. Any time they have a song together in Tangled the Series, it just makes you melt.
I love Zachary Levi's singing voice. It wasn't until Tangled that I knew that he could truly sing. In Alvin and the Chipmunks The Squeakquel, his character sings a song off key, so when I actually heard him sing, I was floored.
I assume you haven't seen the movie 😂 the "frog" (and it's really funny that you called him that; you'll understand if you watch it) is a chameleon. His name is Pascal, he's Rapunzel's best friend (she's been locked in a tower her whole life, her option to have human friends was a little non-existent lol).

Tangled was my first real cinema experience and this scene looked AMAZING in the theatres!!! I was also fully convinced that Mandy Moore had the most beautiful voice in the world
I was a 35 year old man weeping at the scene in the movie theater.. I loved this moment
I wish I could remember that experience… I was too young unfortunately. But I do remember this song being the first time I didn’t cringe at romance and fell in love with a song.
I've been a Disney fan for decades. Owned and watched all the movies, as an adult, before I had kids. When I saw this song, for some reason it really got to me. So adorable. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi sound beautiful together. I love his "hazey" voice.
Also true story, we lit floating lanterns at a friend's wedding so they would all beautifully drift off into the distance and create this magical moment - but a big gust of wind came and blew them all back at us so that was disappointing. Then we lit fireworks and they toppled over and we all ran for our lives but that's another story. Good times 👍
if u absolutely love Mandy Moore (Rapunzels voice) & Zachary Levi’s (Flynn Ryder/Eugene Fitzherbert) voice, you will love the Tangled sequel called Tangled The Series or now known as Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. So we get brand new songs with Mandy & Zach, butttt I know you love Jeremy Jordan, and he’s in this! He plays Varian, a 15 year old alchemist, and man does Jeremy pull out his Broadway vocals for this, especially “Let Me Make You Proud”, Varian’s debut solo in the series. And also, Eden Espinosa (I think I spelled it right lol), and she voices Cassandra, who is Rapunzel’s best friend and her handmaiden. And Eden really pulls out her Broadway vocals for “Waiting In The Wings” which is one of the most popular song in the show. And ACTUALLYYYY, Eden & Jeremy have a duet that is powerful as hell!!
Zachary levi's voice is such a refreshing change from the regular disney vibes.
My cousin walked down the aisle to this song. It's so pretty. And the movie is fantastic.
I love this song! My junior year I had an art assignment to take a famous painting and change it, and I took a Van Gogh and changed it to be this scene! I wasn’t very happy with my people, but I liked painting them

You should really consider some of the other music from both that movie and the spin-off animated series, Tangled Adventures. They pulled out all the stops for Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, not to mention Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa.
Her hair is literally magic, it doesn't break or get thinner 😂

For me this is the most romantic scene Disney ever made!!
This song was the first one I ever learned to play on my ukulele and was the first real singing video I ever shared with anyone, so this song has a huge place in my heart and brain.
I really do also recommend the songs from the sequel show of Tangled! My favorites are "Crossing the Line", "Wind In My Hair", and "Ready As I'll Ever Be".
I’m a mezzo-soprano in my choir but I can sing higher notes, and what my choir director tells the sopranos when singing high notes, and also low notes, is to use fast air going out and to raise your soft pallet up so allow more air to come out. It really helps

By your comments I can tell you haven't watched the film... I 100000/10 recommend it! You'll definitely enjoy it AND it'll answer a lot of questions: that frog, is actually a chameleon; that rockish voice fits him very well, because he's actually a thief in the movie. Honestly the whole movie builds up to this scene, I'm a little upset you didn't get to experience everything first, before watching this scene, but I hope you can still feel the magic when you do watch it

Yep! I came here to the comments to see if anybody had already said it. If not, I was gonna comment just that! Her hair just put down is much longer and thinner.
It was hard for her to walk around with her hair like that, so when they get to the village and they see three little girls braiding each other's hair, they ask them to braid Rapunzel's (the girls have a lot of fun doing that).

Looks so beautiful - I am kinda jealous. Where I live in Germany they are banned. Because you can't predict where they will land and they sometimes land although they are still burning and there have been fires started by them. Unfortunately still some people do it anyway because they don´t know and also some don´t care. a few years ago one actually landed in a zoo and burned the monkey house to the ground. Fortunately most of the monkeys could be rescued. But kinda surprised other countries don't have the same problems
I actually prefer Tangled quite a bit more than Frozen. I just find it quite a bit more enjoyable and entertaining.
