- This is a 2008 Ninja Gaiden 2 making of documentary. Its very cool in depth about the ninja weapons, ninja culture etc. This was Tomonobu Itagaki's final days with Tecmo
Weapons in this game are actually so complex I actually consider them almost fighting game characters. You “main” certain weapons.

I didn't want this to end. Team Ninja is definitely the most underrated developer out there. It's a shame Itagaki was removed for other reasons other than performing. I can only imagine how good NG3 would have turned out. Tecmo just announced a new game today. I'm hopeful.

they need to pay him his bonus only reason why he left team ninja cause he never got his bonus pay.
This game had some amazing weapons, my favorite was the dragon sword, the scythe( I think the scythe is the best weapon in the game) lunar staff and the kusanari was vicious, it had some nice moves.
i have this for my xbox 360 but both are still good... :)

They definitely shipped an unfinished game. The top 2 difficulty levels are stupidly unbalanced to the point they’re not fun like in 04/Black. So much for all that play testing with Itagaki stood behind them.
Itagaki never not get to FINISH the game. Tecmo was harassing him and chased him out of Tecmo before the game was even finished being developed. As a result the game released in a unfinished mess. Read up on the history
@@DanielAlvarez-iw8hryes I also heard about, someone even said that there are chapters are more polished than the rest, some even say there are "missing chapters" that didn't make it in to the game.
Never knew this. The game is still a classic and holds up well in 2023. Would have like to see the polished product damn.
