- URGENT UPDATE: In the video I accidentally say Brickworld conventions are bad, I meant to say Brickfest. Sorry for any confusion.
Conventions can be so much fun! Make sure to look up information on any conventions you plan on attending to make sure the organizers are legitimate and you'll have fun.
We go to Bricks Cascade in Portland Oregon regularly.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to like, subscribe, and then do whatever else CZcams tells you to do!
"Eh" "he wont"🤣 Ah but I did! I love it! Gotta admire confidence.
Lol
Country of Lego😊
Thanks for watching!
I'm considering displaying next year at Brick World Chicago. I want to push the bounds of what Lego can do. I want to make it special and memorable. There are so many that you walk by that you think that is amazing what can be done with Lego but not many stick with you. The ball drop is neat in the fact that there are so many different ways for it to travel. BUT... The giant structure man all built with house s is neat BUT... Yeah, that is the longest train I have ever seen BUT... "eh" The most interesting one for me was a small build a popsicle that was freaking out because his buddy had melted. Are you pushing what bricks can do? Are you being innovative? Are you able to show off that innovation? I think that is the challenge.
I didn't care for the big man structure. The wind mills turned in a janky way, at first I thought it was supposed to be Batman, it felt like the shape fell apart around the legs and feet for stability. Sometimes bigger isn't better.
That first build you filmed after my dad walked by your camera is wild! Do you know if that was an individual or group build?
If you mean the Star Wars one, I'm fairly certain it was a group project but I can't say that with 100% confidence. The reason I think it was a group was because I think it would have been nominated along with you if it was an individual.
@BrickIsLoveBrickIsLife yeah I was gonna say, because that is awesome.
There were a ton of builds worthy of the one I was in
Brickworld is who runs Chicago. I think you were talking about Brick Fest Live being the one convention that has a really bad reputation.
Yeah I was, I misspoke and edited the description of the video to point that out. I watched the video so many times before posting, I don't know how it slipped by.
Did you say you've heard nothing but bad things about Brick World? Maybe I heard you wrong...
I accidentally said Brick World, I meant Brickfest.
