When she released in Kpop, she probably got more attention because she was 'Tiffany Hwang from Girls' Generation, from the one and only SM entertainment' and she had all the korean media and Asian fans to give her the support. Most people in kpop and in Asia would probably know Tiffany and Girls' Generation. Right now, she's shed away all of that and aiming a completely different market where her name isn't as known. She's starting from scratch again, from small again, no longer with the veteran and legend status, but it feels good because she's been receiving so much positive feedback. In the past she'd be swarmed by negative remarks and insults and criticism for everything but now she's found her balance, found her own happiness, her own sound, and she's chasing her dreams. Most of the comments and remarks are positive and I'm so happy and proud of her. She really is hardworking, there's a reason why she's a member of Girls' Generation y'all.
(By the way, Tiffany has confirmed she's still a Girls' Generation member, so in no way am I implying that she has left GG.)

@@yukikirameki9378 I can't remember but she has said it in many different occasions. She said it in many interviews, I think you can find them if you search. She said it in one of the red carpet interviews during the BMAs and she also said it when she did an interview with Chelsea Briggs for Billboard, it's on CZcams. She was also talking about Girls' Generation during her interview for Iheartradio. She's also corrected interviewers when they say she's no longer from GG. She also went to Zach's radio station where she also talked a lot about Girls' Generation. In case you don't know, she just went back to Korea and even went to support Sooyoung's movie with the other girls and she's always saying 'Girls Generation forever'. She also plays GG songs in her concerts and she also sings GG songs (like ITNW) during her concerts. You can find probably find videos about her talking about GG if you search with keywords on google and/or CZcams.

Tiffany is inspiring AF. When she was a teenager in America, she just decided one day "I'm gonna go to Korea and become a KPop star" and she did it. Then ten years later she says "I'm going to go back to America and be an American Pop star" and she did that too. She kept going despite all the harsh criticism or people telling her she couldn't do it. We should all look to Tiffany as a source of inspiration for us to follow our own dreams. She had to reason no believe she would succeed but she tried anyway and worked her ass off until she got what she wanted. Tiffany fighting!!

i'm thankful her songs are written within her vocal range instead of stretching her up to taeyeon's range just because. this suits her so much and really brings out her voice, the same way lee hyori's songs were done throughout the latter half of her career.
this MV is much deeper than you’d think at first. Look at all the symbolism: she’s wearing strong make up for contrast& doesn’t smile for over half of the video as she is trying to escape the tides (her problems/challenges from the past) but her long dress (=her soul) is dragged into the water so eventually she gives up pretending that everything is okay& let’s out all her emotions. Afterwards it’s a new day (new beginning), she wears a light dress meaning her soul is free now and by nighttime she also smiles for the first time as she’s showing her gratitude

I’ve been watching random videos of Tiffany (since her debut in SNSD) for a while now (though I’ve known them since 2012) and come across to this video and I’m regretting that I just listened to this right now. Where was I when this was released?! Oh well, I’ll make sure to listen to her comeback song immediately after its release. This one is definitely added to my favorite songs list. It’s such a masterpiece! The music video, the lyrics, the song, and Tiffany herself. I love Tiffany!

Because finally the songs are made in her range and she doesn't have to keep up with Tae and Sica. It's funny how a lot of people criticize but don't stop to think that SNSD is/was a group of 9 people singing the same song so it's bound for certain notes to be uncomfortable for some singers.. and usually the songs best fit the main singers because they need to shine.. and usually the main singers have the widest range.. you see where I'm going.

To be brutally honest, when I first listened to it I stuck with it because it’s Tiffany and as a sone of course I support her in all her works. But after a few more listens I’m genuinely hooked on this song and not just because of Tiffany from Girls Generation but Tiffany Young. Tiffany as a solo artist is amazing!
