- Looking for festive things to do in London at Christmas? Whether you live here or are visiting the capital over the holiday period, it's a great place to get festive, with plenty of different events taking place. From ice rinks to Christmas markets, Christmas lights and festive food and drink. And that's before we even think about New Year's Eve.
We visit the South bank of the River Thames for the Rekorderlig Cider lodege, street food and a Christmas market. Somerset House for Skate with Fortnum & Mason. Covent Garden looks amazing decorated for the festive season.
We head to Leicester Square Christmas market. Check out the Lights of Regent Street. Look at the festive window displays in Selfridges and Harrods.
Finally we watch the lighting ceremony of the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree. Then finish in the Pub.
Nothing really compares to Christmas in New York, but Christmas in London looks pretty spectacular as well! Thanks Barry!

I feel we need to think about the homeless and the ones that live alone its not all rosy out there lets give a thought to them and the sick and the carers that care for their relations. Lets give hafe of the food to homeless kitchens, people buy tooooo much food and blooming wast it greed. love and light to all of them out there.
