Do Euros next year and try to finish the League and Cups asap. That might mean that teams have to play 3 times a week but they are rested now otherwise the delay will countinue the next year.

In America the coronavirus hits hard for our sports, the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and others are delayed but what is the most disappointing is the March Madness is canceled which is our College Basketball tournament.

I think that football may be played throughout the summer months, with the players having less of a break in the summer than in normal years and then the new season starting in early September, and teams playing more often to make up for the lost time (The games normally played in August)
When all of this is over come to germany and watch the derby between Schalke and Dortmund. I'm a huge Schalke fan and honestly it might be one of the best derbys in the world. The atmosphere is just brilliant. And I love your videos they are amazing👍

I agree the health of people is important but I’m an Exeter city fan and we’re so close to going up and if it was abandoned we’ve just dropped out of the automatic but there’s still games to play and it’s possible to go back into the top three. My second team is Reading and even though they’ve probably got nothing to play for now as you’ve mentioned it’s also the financial impact on the lower leagues clubs.

Abandon cup competitions because there are still quite a few teams left and no one can claim it was ‘theirs to win’. As for leagues, sorting relegation/titles/Europe spots will be much more difficult and tbh the authorities are in loss loss situations
I think the virus will around until july then we can come back out to play....so i think there has to be no other option im afraid Thogdon.....its finish the season behind closed doors! But we should get free tv courage or free streaming for most games but a ban on those games being shown in pubs or venues and only available for homes!

I work in the players lounge at the new spurs stadium , super annoying for me that games are cancelled as I'm not only a huge spurs fan, but it also means that as I only work match days I am not getting paid till/if the league resumes. I'm lucky that I'm 19 still live at home with my family and don't have anything to pay for like house, car etc, but so many people who work in the stadium are going to struggle through the suspension of games. I agree with you two though that all cups etc should be suspended for this season and the league should resume late April/May.
I think they should push everything back as thogdad said. Shoot for may 1st or so and finish all of the competitions then bring the euros in August/September

There would be all sorts lawsuits and dirty politics if teams who are currently in relegation spots but have plenty of ground to make up are told unlucky, down you go... Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Love the channel Thogden but find this slightly contradictory. You went to Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday when everyone knew National League level and below matches would have much higher attendances increasing risk of transmission of this deadly virus. Sorry just had to put it out there.
Next season alot of non league and "poor" league 1&2 clubs will go bust due to people not buying tickets to go to the game

First of all Hbd to Thogdad and I think that even if we beat United and Watford it still wouldn’t be mathematically possible for us to win it and we can’t play matches to get points so if we want to win a league we have to deserve it as it would be our first title in 30 years safety of our nation comes first

Personally it’s going to be tough decision to make but all the leagues will be better if they extend because there are more games and that. But, the way it will work is that they keep the teams in the relegation zone in the same division next season and promote teams in the automatic promotion spot.

The seasons will be completed over summer, behind closed doors. Euros moved to 2021. 2020/21 season will be shorter (maybe only in Scotland) to fit the all the fixtures in. What I think will happen anyway.
I think they should finish this season when the Corona virus is cleared and have a shorter revamped season the following year with the Champions league,Euro league and Euro finals at the end

If anything does go down they should just hand the league to any team more then 9 points ahead of the 2nd team. So Liverpool and Celtic will be given the title, and then for teams in a serious relegation scrap or fight for Europe/promotion should take part in a playoff system

Villa are two points off safety with a game in hand. Were they to win that game, they would leapfrog over Bournemouth, Watford and West Ham. So just relegating them would also bring a mountain of litigations.

Regarding closed doors: You´re right in nearly every way. But it could be that games played behind closed doors will be the only way to make sure that tv stations will pay all of the money. And without the full amount of tv money many clubs will be in trouble.
I agree I was gonna watch the PSG Dortmund game but it was behind closed doors it’s so dead so I just watched the Liverpool best I did
What if games were played behind closed doors, but fans were only allowed in for very important ones, when Liverpool win the league etc. I realise that’s a safety risk although many have already been taken and schools are still open

I am a massive QPR fan. I am personally very disappointed that the league has been suspended. When Arteta and Hudson-Odoi both got it, it was unfortunately inevitable that this was going to happen. Very few people who work outside of education are going to work, and I think that schools will be closed for several weeks very soon. I also think that what I would like to happen is that we have 22 teams in the Premier League next season (West Brom and the Leeds scum) and just have a knock on effect of the usual 24 teams so that they have 94 teams in the top four divisions, and try to rebuild the leagues at the end of next season or the season after next. As a hearts fan i would feel extremely hard done by if we were relegated and if we were to be relegated we would put in a massive lawsuit for a lot of money and if we would win it, it would become unfair for other scottish teams because the money would be obscene.

The euros could be alright because apparently it’s not going to be bad in the summer and might be slowed down but of course if it isn’t it should be played next year for safety reasons
What about fan that paid for season tickets? They aren't cheap. Adidas Gazprom Sky etc might not be happy about losing money but they can afford it but the average fan gives a sizeable portion of income on tickets some working overtime or giving up holiday or nights out to afford to go watch their team. Do clubs give partial refund?

It’s not just football. All sports in the USA are at a standstill. Concerts canceled. People being quarantined here. Pubs and restaurants closed. There’s literally nothing to do... it’s miserable here.
They could spread more fans out in the stadium as they would all be clustered together outside any way
