Austen may be annoying but at this particular moment what he is saying to Kathryn should not be classified as annoying to a third person. Otherwise it means you support her continuous drinking to the point of not knowing what happened live. To Kathryn yes - because she is angry that a castmate is telling it on TV. It is a painful truth to Kathryn. But she is wrong, if she wants custody.

Finally!!!! Thank you...I thought I was the only one that heard that. Also she went to rehab over marijuana because Thomas is a tool and here in the south it's not legalized yet and that good ole boy way of thinking is unfortunately still a thing..she can drink anything she chooses as long as it's not infused with weed. She is obviously on medications prescribed by an actual physician for PTSD, anxiety and depression. Last but by all means not the least, why is it that any one in this group has any room to judge her on anything period? Every one of them has an addiction of some sort so why is Kathryn being held to a higher standard or better yet being singled out?

It's easy to say someone is addicted to adderall to hide their own addictions, the entire cast is either on coke, adderall, xanax, drinks heavily or smokes weed. They're all addicts trying to hide behind someone else's addiction.

What if it was a "work trip"?
This show is essentially their JOB. (For some, their only job.) Production puts a lot of emphasis on the entire cast being present for these excursions. This isn't a normal ex-boyfriend situation, or just a bunch of buddies going on a trip for the hell of it. Naomi should get a pass for that reason alone. The new guy knows the deal with this show. He knew it when he met her that this type of stuff would happen, and like it or not, he needs to accept that this is what she does.
Guys who are involved with models and other professions that require their partners public exposure and travel handle this gracefully all the time! I think a guy who made it through the rigors and competition of medical school can handle this, no problem.
Austen organizes POT FEST and then comes after Katherine? I smell stanky Madison behind this one.

I was surprised to hear that Katherine has relapse. Let me say this, Katherine will not recover or heal as long as she is on this show. Their are a lot of people on this show that are addicts, they just won’t admit it. It’s easy for them to focus on Katherine addiction to keep the focus off of them. Austin, Shep and Craig all need to be in rehab with Katherine. If Katherine is serious about her sobriety she needs to remove herself from all of these toxic people (including the women), because none of them have her best interest at heart. I like Katherine (she’s my favorite), I want the best for her and her children. In order for her to be a good mom she has to be presence.
People, places and things...they say all that you need to change is EVERYTHING! Kathryn knows this, of course. I get the impression that she just isn't ready to surrender. Too bad. She could be a real asset to the Recovery/12 Step community.
Kathryn was asked to come back to the show, she had left for the sake of herself and her children. I actually blame bravo because they will push to get their storyline. She is the sacrifice. Unfortunately you are never at your strongest when you are a recovering addict. They screwed her when she was signed on again. Sadly
Meh. Too judgey for me. Unfortunately when I was going through a divorce I was drunking way too much. Not good but I came around. And I still have a glass of 🍷 just not every day. And I think she will be fine. If Thomas wasn't such a psycho I think she would be even better. Not that this should be an excuse but she is very young. I think social media can be just as damaging and harmful for people suffering with life.
And Craig is obviously on drugs...he’s rapidly aged in just the past 2 seasons and sounds like he’s inhaled a Tabacco farm but spends his days having other people make “his” pillows.

I think she may have more serious issue than just depression . I'm bipolar and I think she is too. The shopping house she can't afford car . She cannot drink at all if you are on the meds for it,it makes you act off. Now her mom has died, oh Lord she needs real friends to help her through this. Keep Danny ,find friends who will keep you grounded. Let's all pray for her. I went through the same shit, cost me a lot I have three grown kids who will never talk to me. Linda Brown it’s very bizarre - I think Danni is the only genuine one to her. There is a certain amount of snobbery and elitism about this cast which is borderline delusional. I think Naomi, Cameron and the other one know that Kathryn has a huge following so they are careful not to rock the boat so to speak - as they aware of backlash, but I don’t believe they care of have the best intentions for her.

I believe Robert Christopher makes a very good point. As someone with just a year shy of a decade of sobriety as well as being a specialized health care provider, drinking alcohol is not living a life of sobriety. Kathryn has thus relapsed. She needs to admit to herself that she is no longer sober, get past it, and get back into recovery mode. Kathryn you are a very young woman with the world at your feet and this is just a blip in what can be an incredible future for you. There are not many young women who have had the courage and intelligence to face their substance abuse head on. Oh to have had your wisdom when I was your age...we really are all rooting for you. Take ownership, and move forward in health.
Now for the rest of this cast. Kudos to the person that stated Kathryn won't succeed in sobriety until she leaves this show. Austin, I think you a lovely young man but please don't have a marijuana dinner party with pot, edibles, and tonnes of alcohol with someone still struggling and new to sobriety and then state you are "disappointed" in them when they relapse! Shep, in the past your generosity of spirit and thoughtfulness of others made you truly endearing to the audiences and the odd civil outburst was negated by your "southern charm". Lately it appears your own substance abuse has you bound up in level of arrogance and mean spiritedness that I truly don't believe represents the good man you are...I really think it the alcohol impacting your moods. Now ladies, how do you not look Kathryn in the eye during this episode and be so judgemental of this young woman battling one of the worst chronic health conditions but at every turn...every party...every dinner...serve and/or drink alcohol in her presence?! Would you sit and eat cake in front of a starving person? No of course not, that would be cruel. Although I too questioned Kathryn's behavior on WWHL, in her defense- she did NOT say; "WHO?" when Austen tweeted in. It was more of a vocal expression like, "Ooop", (like uh-oh). Austen misunderstood Kathryn, that is why it sounded like it "came out of no where", as he said. I DO NOT believe she was trying to be or act dismissive of Austen at all. In addition, when Austen made his comment about Madison's indiscretion, and then Kathryn said "Time's Up", I believe she just didn't want Austen to waste his time on Madison any longer. That Is how I took it anyhow. I just don't want to see Kathryn get hung for something she did not say, or mean. She's been through more than her share already. However, she was definitely acting weird on WWHL, and tonight she is definitely not acting like herself when she is 100% clean. Why would she ever have taken that chance fail her drug test with Marijuana and Cocain. That is a horrible chance she took and she is going too lose all custody if she doesn't completely STOP doing everything.

But none of them have kids or are in custody battles.
They do and they are likely alcoholics but she has kids that she’s already lost custody of. Why risk losing them again? I’ve been rooting for her but she’s on a slippery slope.

She was acting crazy on wwhl and I'm pretty sure her and Madison were drinking and gossipping in the glam room according to her behavior and looks she gave Madison in the audience. I feel bad for Kathryn but when I think back on her core decisions to get knocked up by Thomas multiple times to stay on a reality show, sure she can have major regrets but once she's in the clear I feel like you see her revert really quickly. Even Whitney the producer called her out on having a child to secure her spot on a reality show.
At her core, she's trash. She sold her soul to the devil for fame. I feel sorry for her kids.

You are NOT SOBER or in RECOVERY if you're drinking alcohol...and Kathryn knows this. She's legit in getting irritated with her castmates constantly taking her emotional pulse and questioning the status of her sobriety, but a simple, "It's an anonymous program and not your business." would be all she needs to say. Instead she goes savage, which raises suspicion.
This is why going public with 12 step/Recovery programs is not a good idea. The general public usually doesn't understand 'HOW it works' (inside joke, lol!) and it puts too much pressure on the person in recovery. It's a marathon, not a sprint. I wish her well, but fear this episode will end badly, because it's a relapse. No two ways about it.
Thank you, this was the most objective reasoning ive read so far. They are waiting on the opportunity to pounce on her, which only pushed her closer to failure.

Absolutely hilarious how the people there want to sit on that couch and question Katherine’s sobriety... laughable. Hey guys take a look in the mirror and focus on your own sobriety. Everyone on that couch has been waisted this season and every other season too. Disgusting how any of them think they have any room to question her sobriety.
Katherine plays victim a lot. The cast behavior toward her seems like they are tired of protecting her especially when it’s obvious she hasn’t been consistently sober.
I find it funny how Naomi can do a full on SHOW with Craig but can’t take a vacation with him and the rest of the cast.
Keep Naomi, Bravo: she’s the only one on that show that gives a base line of normalcy and common decency and has bigger balls than all the rest on that show and isn’t afraid to call a spade a douchetard! 👏👏👏. Plus she’s beautiful and classy.

It’s not illegal to drink alcohol. Kathryn isn’t an alcoholic so if she partakes in drinking as long as she doesn’t break her court order and get a DUI she’s fine.
These others didn’t lose custody of their kids. Plus they own it; Kathryn doesn’t. When she responds and attacks like she did to Austin she is deflecting. I was always in her corner but not when she does that crap.

Kathryn usually is selective in telling what the court order she is under mandates.She went to rehab and lost custody of her children because of addictions to cocaine,amphetamines,alcohol and weed.She is not supposed to use any of them.But,she does use them and keeps failing drug tests because of it.If your sobriety is so important to you and you want your kids back than stop using.
Kathryn said she was on anxiety medication which makes her fidget. And the only reason she took it was to calm her nerves. Which clearly didn’t help because she came of jittery on wwhl

It at had 0 to do with him not being born in India.
Every time I've seen Katharine on WWHL she's been off. My opinion i think she's taken a valium or 2. She is definitely lying about the drug thing. Yeah you might not smoke pot but she didn't deny any other drug. I would imagine a girl her age would have a hard time not partying at all

If she was serious about sobriety she would know "people, places and things". She chose to be on a show where everyone drinks. They cant stop living their lives to accommodate Kathryn. Her kids should be incentive for her to surround herself with others in sobriety. Part 2 of the reunion Kathryn denies drinking on WWHL but Naomie told her that a close friend saw her drinking, which Kathryn got very defensive about.
This whole group is on something. Don’t just pick on those that do. No ones perfect lol
I definitely think Kathryn is doing something she’s not supposed too. It’s easy to see she had a buzz on Andy’s show. I still don’t understand how people defend her all the time. She still is the same Kathryn since season one to me. I can totally believe she failed a test. I don’t know if she’s on any anxiety meds or just non prescription but she’s taking to much of something. I would know because my mom has always had a pill problem. She’s never done weed or illegal drugs but she likes to overtake prescribed or over the counter. And how Kathryn acted on his show reminds me of how my mom gets.
If Kathryn doesn’t want people “coming” for her sobriety she should get off the show....
Shep also comes from a male dominated society. He needs to speak on his own fucking culture, patriarchy and misogyny.
I think they must be mindful of what they say sense it can be used against her. Also I do think some of the cast are jealous of her due to the attention she receives.
If I was Kathryn I would cut all ties. Cause they just want her to fail and its sad. Kathryn has come along way from the first season and people only focus on the bad, they don't understand that fact that she was a young mother having two kids back to back, being left alone with her depresseson while her abusive ex treated her like trash. Kathryn is a serviorer let her live.

Kathryn did look a little off on the watch what happens live, it was difficult to watch. She even said she was to embarrassed to watch it. I like Kathryn and I hope the best for her.
The cast has become extremely toxic. So much anger, jealousy and nastiness towards one another. I used to like shep but his behavior this season is off putting. Never liked Austen. Cameron is an annoying little know it all. Still love Craig and Kathryn. I hope she’s not screwing up her life. She needs to get her act together for her children’s sake. She has a lot to lose.

Where were their concerns about Catherine's or sobriety when they went up to Colorado and they were all high on weed the only person that gave a damn and got up from the table was Craig not even her bestie Danny got up. They've all crucified Kathryn. Cameron who thinks she's the mother hen of the group has her partying ways. Catherine is the youngest of all that group she has gone through so much she still working on herself but . The rest of the cast wouldn't survive with Katherine survive because they're so old and they're still acting like Frat Boys.
