This synth is just one big sweetspot. My friend has one, and man I need to work hard for this not to sound good.

20:30 secs if that had vibrato it would almost be a lovely Arp Solina string sound. I have just bought one of these, I hope I can get as close as possible to Arp Solina ensemble strings!

Hi Jonti, sadly they're not compatible with the Stage for some reason, as it's structured differently I believe between the 2 Synths.

@@GEOSynths Woaouuh ! I have to buy this synth if is possible to do so beautiful voices sounds with this synth. It's about two years I've been searching for a synth able to do some beautiful pads sounding like voices like this one.
Do you know Christopher Von Deylen, (Schiller) ? He has sold more than 7 millions of records.... And he uses a lot of Clavia Nord... This artist inspires me very much.
What I really miss from the Nords (and even elektron) is the simplicity of the performance mode and how easy is to edit and layer, the implementation on the System 8 is horrendous.
Alex Max In comparison not intuitive, first problem is that the ARP is global you can't avoid triggering and you can't have two parts with different ARP settings running, 2nd the way you edit each part, you can't edit both at the same time, 3rd Keyboard split needs a menu, in the nord there is a button to assign. 4th Performances doesn't save patch data, they only reference patch in the other mode.
Alex Max And one of the reasons I got it, but the whole performance implementation makes me use it very little in that mode.
Alex Max Currently Just the system 8, but before I owned: Nord lead 3, Elektron analog keys, Waldorf blofeld, virusti, novation ultranova, JP08, minitaur, they come and go, I like to try different things

Haha...OB6 is still top, but the others keep changing...I’d probably say the DM12 is my number 2, but the others, depends on each time I make new patches, I find something great about it ;)
