Gayton McKenzie: How a ANC/DA forced marriage will sow SA’s future seeds of disaster

  • Patriotic Alliance president Gayton McKenzie believes the business community and global markets are disrespecting the will of SA’s people by pushing the ANC into a partnership with the DA. He argues that this is driven by financial motives and a “Save Ramaphosa” agenda - but it is the wrong path for a country that has sent a clear message that it wants the ANC out of power. McKenzie reckons all non-ANC politicians, including Jacob Zuma’s MK and the EFF, should unite in a single objective of ejecting the ANC from government, which will cut off its corrupt tentacles whose destructive cadre deployment reaches into every corner of the State. He spoke to BizNews editor Alec Hogg.

He gayton doesn't realize what the first world investors already think of the anc because of corruption in the government, he just think of coalitions and to be part of the government but he forgets what will happened if the investing countries reject SA as a country for investments. He's a rich and wealthy man,and only got one thing in mind and that's fame and power, he talks like the parliament is turning around him and the 2,5% popcorn 🍿 pa party with 9 seats.

For the DA to have lost the Western Cape, there would have had to be around 122 000 votes for other parties that have gone uncounted. So is Gayton saying the uncounted boxes of votes that were allegedly found contained almost as many votes as the PA got in the Western Cape in total?
I am not sure if the PA did their maths here to support the claim that the DA should've lost the Western Cape due to allegedly uncounted votes.

Is it right that the country and our laws must be subjected to the threat of violence by one group who does not have a clear majority either nationally or provincially. You talk of the will of the people but the results do not show this to be the will of the people.

As a resident of Knysna I won’t forgive him for breaking their coalition with the DA and throwing the PA support behind the ANC. Everyone knows how this coalition in Knysna has turned out. Glad to see that judging from the votes in the General Election, of the Local Election had been held at the same time, the DA would have won back a majority in the council. The locals have seen through Gayton’s smooth talking.

Actually, fear is what is driving the push for ANC/DA. You can't tell me that's not the case. DA and its voters and funders are sh*t scared of Zuma and Malema. They literally labeled ANC and EFF the doomsday coalition. They fear Zuma even more.
Gayton is being rational and saying we shouldn't be ruled by big business. The coalition should be organic and the organic options are the ones we do not like. I don't want the MK and EFF because of their ideology but I cannot deny that voters prefer those parties much more than they do the PA.
If it weren't for big business influence, ANC/DA would be a last option but these billionaire bad actors are pushing it to the top with their money, for their own personal gain and that undue influence may have unintended consequences for the country. It is literally an attempt to buy the country. Anyone who thinks that is okay needs to introspect.
