If you watch heavyD you'll see there is people getting stuck on the lake beds in Utah all the time. So maybe they are trying to avoid injuries and the cost of recovery? Not to mention the environmental harm that comes from vehicles sitting in mud for months because they can't be recovered. I'm all for freedom and good racing but not everyone is smart enough to scout out the path before driving it so maybe it's for the best
Lakebed dust has arsonic in it that become airborne and travel with the wind and reach cities when the top crust is broken. Sometimes smart people has to pass rules to prevent dumn people from harming everyone.

It’s normal for speedometer to show higher than actual speed. My bike is out by that much at half the speed. The bonus is tickets are usually a little less than what you actually thought you were exceeding the limit by.😃

I think the sterrato needs a 2" body lift and a sway bar delete. You'll be amazed by how much better it articulates over obstacles and the extra clearance will make it a lot more capable, both in feeling and actuality.
